Others have mentioned it here but the “Dusty Lands” mod is exactly what you’re looking for, it’s adds realistic dust to the game and can be adjusted to your liking! Really worth checking it out!

Yes that can happen but the mod lets you set the “strength” of the dust effect so frame rate isn’t badly affected! But that’s also PC dependent…@@thegamer7260

I watched a video on the real life self propelled vermeer baler being demonstrated and it is nearly fully self operated. The driver basically only does the first bale or two to set the computer up then only steers after that. When the baler is full, it automatically stops, can turn the machine to a preset angle to drop the bale if desired, wraps and unloads the bale, then continues on with no input from the operator.

a first person time laps was acually a nice change ... maybe you can do that more often, especially when carting and stuff, it is a nice change of perspective

I love the Vermeer pack but god it's just so hard to justify spending nearly 200k just so I don't have to use a tractor for a baler

Some of the largest balers cost upward to 200K, so paying a little more for a self propelled one is not as expencive as it sounds.

@@DonGorgen it is when you realise you still have the inconvenience of a round baler with no wrapping capabilities of its own, it's just not a convenient machine to me, upkeep is also higher and I have to maintain a machine that only has one purpose, not my thing personally

@@shotgun18 To be fair, this came with the "Hay and Forage" DLC, so it's intended purpose, even in game, is a grasslands bailer. In that respect it probably fits in well with other self-propelled things like a forage wagon, mower, and tedder. Edit: I've been corrected. It came in it's own DLC, not in the Hay and Forage DLC.

Nice episode. Never really watched the self propelled baler before. Something we salute you for is your music choices. Always good stuff and makes the time lapse much more fun. Must be hard to keep searching and finding the tunes. Thank you for that.

You should adjust your wheel deadzone, it's constantly steering you off to the right and you keep doing adjustments back. Making very wavy lines. And is probably why you have workers missing tiny strips so often.

1. there is an autoloading trailer for hesstons 2. The best baler right now is the Quickbale. A moded version of Fastbale, with 180cm , no stoping and wraping at the same time.

the vermeer is nice with courseplay. windrow first to save A LOT of time. put hte vermeer on the same course. works nicely. make sure you lower the cornering speed because it likes to turn too fast. you also mentioned it excels in straights. it excels in turns too, it's zero turn

So let me tell you. That Vermeer ZR5 is an amazing machine. I sell them for a living. Also sell Kubota. But that self propelled baler is an absolutely amazing machine. Love it. Oh ya. You need some Kubota on your farm CMON DAG. Help a viewer out

There is an easy’er access into your grassfield. Instead of driving al the way around the grassfield like you do now, just drive on the little track next to the field where you harvested the rye last episode and on your right at the end there is an opening in the bushes that gives access to said grassfield 😉 Btw love the channel!

Another nice thing about the self propelled bailer is it’s heavy enough to push around the bales because when I use the Göweil or the Vermeer baler when I back up it gets lifted in the air which gets very annoying after a while.

I’ve got a map suggestion for the next map u do or 2 ideas 1 could be Somerset farms it’s a nice smaller map or maybe ballyspring but I know that survival role play is being done on that map just an idea but enjoying the videos I’ve been here since the time you did the big buds on fs 17

UK not very dusty though, mostly either hard like concrete or muddy

The balers turning speed and radius messes me up but I do like the baler. Also as others mentioned real dirt mod and a lighting one out there also makes neat sunsets etc. Courseplay would ease up the workload on some field tasks. Also GPS on vehicles helps immensely in not missing bits.

i forget what the baler was called but u can make it so it has a swather on the front of the baler and if it wide enough then it could take 3 swaths at a time

I just wonder why real farmers is doing this job. Saw a video and all kind of oil leqk, stones breaking equipment, animals biting at cables. Statistic shows that farming is not the money maker i thought it was.
