Wow, that was an awesome video, thank you so much! One of the things I learned is that you can throw much farther than I previously thought. That's good to know as I use your throws to determine how a disc might fly for me more than Calebs. I really appreciate his work, but as a player, am closer to you in ability. Fatigue is a real thing. I know you gutted out the round for our sake, but the safe thing to do would have been to cut it short. One of the things I've found that helps with fatigue, especially if heat and sweating are a factor are electrolyte pills along with lots of water. They can be acquired over the counter without a prescription. I take 1 pill per 9 holes, not to exceed 2 in a day as they are essentially salt, and that helps greatly. Another thing I've found is that in spite of people thinking that snacks are the answer to flagging energy, 95% of the time, it's a lack of water. Water is the actual gasoline of the body and your body uses water for every single process, including digesting snacks. Unless you're in a POW camp, you're not going to starve to death in a couple of hours, but not drinking enough water can have near immediate results. Thank you for all of your efforts and I wish you the best of fortune in all you do.

We need updated in the bags from Caleb and Greg!

Hey Greg! Great to see you just playing a round and chatting, I enjoyed it! Fun video format. As much as I enjoy watching Caleb throw it's nice to watch a regular disc golfer in action . . . and it's on an actual course, so we get to see how the disc / throw works during the real thing. I hope to see some more of these! Thanks for your hard work.

I love the format of this video, you should totally go play some random courses around the country and film yourself in a local playing maybe talking about Disc Golf. Kind of like the podcast idea you had earlier just an unscripted video of you and a local playing and talking. if you wanna kick that off by coming out to Bakersfield California we have an amazing course and I can put you up in our guest house for a few nights.

Appreciate the offer! I think it might become something we do occasionally or in between our other content, Somehow despite all my travels I've never been to California, would love to visit though some day!

You basically threw my dream bag because Innova makes some of my favorite molds: Mako3, Firebird, Destroyer, and a Halo Star Mamba being the most recent addition to my bag. I want a full bag of Halo Star everything.
@ericjepson3765Ай бұрын
Halo Mambas are sooo good. Like most high-speed flippy discs the halo makes them considerably more overstable. The halo mambas are way more point-and-shoot, they don't flip all the way over but instead have a nice pan to the right and crazy glide. Mako3 has become my go-to mid also, so workable.

Hey Greg. I visited Phoenix in March '24 and played this course. I wasn't impressed. Lots of park goers other than golfers. Saw two people get hit. Also played desert golf at Buffalo Ridge in north Phoenix. That was fun. Good video. Thanks.

Hey Greg, I enjoy these type of videos as well as the main disc review/comparison vids you normally put out. Cracked me up (as someone who lives in Tucson, AZ) to hear your comment on the dry heat 🔥- It's a real danger. I always wear a hat! . Clearly though you've been sweating out all your pure energy back in Ohio. So, good to see you have some fun in Scottsdale. I was actually back East last month and found my way to Blue Heron Disc Golf Course in Vandalia, OH, after visiting friends in Dayton. It was a nice spot. I'm not a big fan of many Innova discs, but I do love the Leopard and Leopard 3 in Star plastic!

This was great, but I'll be honest. I like your usual videos a bit better. I love seeing the disc flight comparisons. Just tossing my opinion out there, but you do whatever you like best and I'll still watch it because I look forward to your videos the most of any channel.

Don't worry, we're still 98% a disc comparison and analysis channel, but we're interested in reaching out beyond that too!

Something for the next Q&A... What are your oldest discs still in the bag. Personally my initial starter pack was an RPM (in NZ most people have an RPM base plastic starter pack with the Pekapeka (under stable driver) the most common lost/found disc (I've personally found at least 15 of them and have 2 currently awaiting pickup)) The RPM Ruru in base (Strata) plastic makes a comeback whenever it rains as RPM Strata ungodly grippy when wet! ... I got a Champion Leopard (that recently found itself slipping back into my bag on the odd occasion I need a flippy disc a little less vegan than my Diamonds) A Champion Beast that has been in the bag within months of starting 3 ish years ago, and is my go-to driver on one local hole & gets a good airing elsewhere A 2020 Trilogy Challenge SPZ3 (Superhero) that flies dead straight 5ft off the ground for 300ft with the slightest of Hyzers as it gets older... What the heck will I do if I loose it... and a Z line scorch that is my smooth arc Hyzer bomb from near day 1.

I love many of innova's discs I do not love how inconsistent different runs of the same mold are. So if I can find a disc similar enough to the Innova disc that I like I will tend to buy that since I know a replacement will have less variation.

Haven’t watched yet, but my guess on why he “doesn’t like innova” is because other brands do more slick marketing which makes them easier to promote for sale. Has nothing to do with personal preference.
@SixSidedDiscsАй бұрын
My only complaint is that they won’t sell me discs. If I don’t have a brick and mortar store, they won’t even consider it.
@JTygerAUАй бұрын
@@SixSidedDiscs Thanks for responding! Good clarification. It’s too bad because I think you do a good job promoting discs in a fair way. Innova is missing out.
