Rogan owes us nothing. He never hosted anyone based on what the audience wanted. He invites people he finds interesting and wants to talk with them and learn something from them. He talked about it several times. He had people offering money to be on the podcast but he never accepted. If he was struggling financially maybe he would but, as he said, he was lucky enough to never get into that position. He'd maybe invite Trump if he wasn't running but he won't do it anytime soon. You can bet on it. He didn't invite Kennedy because he's running. he was interested in talking about big pharma. Also, if Kennedy was polling high he wouldn't invite him either. He doesn't need nor he wants the attention that would come with hosting a frontrunner for president from any of two major parties. He's not in hunt for new viewers. He already made (as he likes to say) "F you money" years ago. He made 15 million from "Fear factor" alone. He made millions more as stand up comic. He owns few business and is partner several more. He was making millions a year with the podcast, for years. He's not gambling, he doesn't spend money on yachts and planes. He couldn't care less about the lavish lifestyle many famous people live. His $100+ million Spotify deal only cemented his financial security which enabled him to continue to only do things he likes to do which is exactly what he's doing. Going back to main question - Everything he did he did by himself. He never, not once, asked people to subscribe to his channel. Every single guest he invited was invited because he was interested in what they do or the stories they have. JRE was never a political podcast and it never will be. The only way to see Trump as a quest is after he leaves the Office if he's elected in 2024. There's no way Joe would make himself part of the campaign. He's aware of how much influence he has. He doesn't want to be remembered as someone who played a role in possibly steering huge chunk of independent and/or undecided voters towards any candidate. And Trump knows it. If there was an option to have both Biden and Trump he's maybe do it, but we all know they would never let Biden to speak for 2-3 hours by himself, w/o teleprompter or someone "in his ear" to help him navigate through the interview. ...which brings us back to the beginning. - Joe owes us nothing and Trump wont be on the podcast anytime soon.

@@speedybuilds2878 I actually find it hard to believe that he would even be friendly to Joe Biden or even shake his hand. It’s my opinion, of course I could be wrong… The fact is Rogan likes Trump enough to be seen publicly shaking his hand apparently, that’s got to be worth something. He’s said many times that he feels bad for Biden and equates him being the president to elder abuse. Maybe he didnt want to have Trump on the podcast and “help him” dunk on the pathetic, obviously senile, failure of a president. Pure speculation…. But I wonder if that may be along the lines of what he meant. It certainly sounds more socially acceptable to just say “I don’t want to help him”

Joe Rogan not interviewing Donald Trump next year would could be the single greatest missed opportunity of hus career. He doesn't necessarily owe anyone a conversation, but if he wants to help America, which I think he does, he newds to speak with Donald Trump. "Helping him" isn't the right way to think about it either. If he really is all of the awful things people say about him (9 times out of 10 he objectively isn't), talking to Joe Rogan would only hurt and maybe even destroy him better than any of these corrupt prosecutors and hudges could even dream. If he's a cool dude cqpable of a good conversation, who has the right ideas for the country, and who has the plan to get it done, then Joe should WANT that conversation to "help" Trump.

Rogan has said there were talks to have Trump on his show. The reason he hasn't had him on his show is because Trump wanted full control of the flow of the interview and the questions asked. Rogan has always maintained that his podcasts are free flowing and an open conversation, which is what makes them so great. He wanted to ask Trump the tough questions and Trump didn't want that. So it has nothing to do with his positions, it's to do with not having an open and honest conversation with all the tough questions
