Hi Rex. You spoke with me directly via email a few months ago about using this mount on a floppy hat. With your advice and suggestions, I was able to install this mount on my favorite floppy wide brim hat, and I absolutely love it. I was even able to keep the embroidered logo! I hope you get more in stock soon, because I plan on getting these as gifts for friends. For anyone wondering if the mount will work on a floppy hat, it definitely will. Spend a little time finding the ideal placement before your initial cuts, and it will work perfectly. Thanks again for your time Rex! Great product!

With the wide angle lens, can you see the peak on the cap on the videos?

As It Is there’s som play to adjust the angle how you want it. Generally I suggest tilting the GoPro so the lens angle is a parallel with the hat bill. This lets you use the bill as a reference to know what is in the shot and the bill doesn’t show up.
