Is there such a thing as a three-circuit transformer to run separate circuits for different parts of your yard? For instance, maybe most nights you just want a low light in the top of the fence posts, but if you have party, maybe turn on the up-lights on the trees.

Hi Robert, yes there are ways to do this. Google FX Luminaire Luxor Controller and you should find your answer.

Home Depot has the Hampton Bay Smart 200 Watt Landscape Transformer Powered by Hubspace, it connects to WiFi, it also has 3 zones (so 3 taps) that each can be controlled by the Hubspace app separately and also integrates with Alexa and Google Home if you want.

any need to zone systems now with LED lighting?
@LightingDoctor6 жыл бұрын
Not as much. If you are installing a system that has more than 20 lights or have long cable runs between lights than you may still need to. However usually if the wattage of all the lights fits the trans former size you are using then you will typically be ok. Thanks

Lighting Doctor Ltd. ok thanks , I was just getting another opinion , some old school guys still zone it , I don’t I just keep it under what the transformer can handle , however yes and larger job or big runs usually require it . Thanks

Same thing out here, lot of the older guys cant quite wrap their heads around efficiency of LED. Appreciate your comments!

+David Pengilly I love the Fx Luminaire ZDC colour changing lights. They are pretty expensive right now but what you can do with them is pretty amazing!!!
