Keep in mind, we do not use "Glue" to glue the pipes together. We are using "Cement" to make them join together. The big difference is, glue is basically a material that sticks to each surfaces, holding them to itself to hold the surfaces together. Here, we are using the glue to "Melt" the plastic, so the plastic will melt together and their surfaces will bond directly to each other. The reason this needs to be understood, is so we understand why we need to do it properly. The Dauber for the cement needs to be rubbed over each square nanometer at least twice to break the plastic's Surface Tension, which will help it melt together. THIS IS CRITICAL for a water-tight seal. This is also why, on Pressure Pipes, we use a Primer before the Cement (Oatey Purple Primer is probably the best known). Also, I would not use Grey PVC, unless your pipe's color coding is different than America's. Grey PVC Pipe is not pipe. It is Electrical Conduit, meant to house and protect wires. It uses different "Plasticizers" than pipes intended for Potable Water. And I would be willing to bet you a beer that they are carcinogenic. White or clear PVC pipe is the only way to go. It's an awesome design! I'm going to copy, but modify. I think the first change I'll make is use a Food-Grade Epoxy Resin to attach the netting, so, no holes gaping around the Cable Ties.

Hi. My 6" threaded end cap is leaking. I suspected this while buying since this did not have a rubber ring inside. What should I do, kindly help.
@diyalmosteverything29563 жыл бұрын
depend where it is leaking. buy simple tephlon tape which you can get in any hardware shop. its very thin tape white in colour used for plumbing. wind it on thread and tighten it. should solve your problem

Hi sir how to clean the filter after sometime
@diyalmosteverything29563 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your query. It is very easy, just remove the cap by unscrewing, pull the pipe net filter wash with water and reinstall. You need to clean once a year. My suggestion is to keep terrace as clean as possible.
