Do it yourself replacement water pump Quick Mill 3000

Thanks for the video. I read that you should replace these pumps every 5 years even if they're still working because they lose pressure. I am doing this job now on the 2 pumps of my Quickmill Monza 5009. Thanks for your help, it's pretty similar to the QM 3000 job.

Hans Krakk, would you know how to change the thermofuse ? It is part 14 on the exploded diagram supplied by the manufacturer. Will it have to be soldered into position ? I could benefit from your expertise before I start dismantling my sturdy Quick mill 3000 ! I have the new replacement part already. Thanks in advance !

Hello Hélène, I should have to look inside to be sure, but In don't think you need to solder. As it is placed over a heath component it could affect the solding iron. Problably you have to cut out the broken fuse and replace the new one which you tighten with cramp fuses. Good luck, Hans

Do you know where I could buy a water pump online? I have the 3004 model. It stopped pumping all together and then after a month it started working after I tinkered with the wires but now it stopped pumping again.

WEST COAST You can search for the ulka ex5 or ep5 water pump on the web. Normally the precise type is described on your pump, look for the right voltage (v) and power (w). Eg amazon.com or alieexpress.

Dag Hans, Dank voor je filmpje. Bij mij loopt de druk op tot 8 bar, dan 'smoort' ie, loopt de druk terug tot ongeveer twee. Denk je dat dit ook de pomp is? Of zou er ergens een soort van beveiliging zitten de de pomp 'uitzet' Dank!

Hallo Jan. Er is geen beveiliging naar mijn idee. Het drukvaatje reguleert de overdruk. Zou pomp en drukvat vervangen. Gr. Hans
