The thing about Jaxxon is that they put gold over silver. When it starts to fade, you can take it to a jeweler and get the chain restored back to the silver. Silver is still a precious metal.

Send it off for repair at Kay Jewelers…you’d be helping them earn their repair dollars goal and you’d probably come out cheaper getting it re dipped…they send yellow gold off to be rhodium plated that’s what gives the white gold that finish…it’s basically redipping it from what I understand. The silver should be able to have similar maintenance.

Any piece of gold plated jewelry is gonna fade over time. When it's in constant contact with your skin, the oils and acids break down the plating. If you're wearing this 24/7 while showering, working out, swimming, etc. it's inevitably gonna fade quicker and you cannot purchase a vermeil piece anywhere in the world that won't eventually have the same results. The nice thing about Jaxxon's chains is, they're real silver unlike many other companies. You can either get the plating stripped and have it back to it's originial color OR get it re-plated from a jeweler. If you are looking for something to last forever with everyday wear, then you're only gonna get that result with a solid gold chain. Obviously, they're expensive, but it might be worth the investment if that's what you're looking for.

That will depend on your specific use, some reviewers it lasted 7 months without fading on their last update, some commenters said it lasted a month or so, I guess in the end it depends on how you take care of it, this guy does say he sweats a lot on it at the gym and we don’t know if he wipes and cleans it after that.

Real 18k chains do not fade, however (in my opinion) fake gold platen chains can have some fade after many use. Bro tip, buy are second-hand 18k chain, you still pay for the gold but low premium or extra for making the chain, and gold is a great investment.

Jaxxon’s are gold “vermeil” not bonded. The verbiage on their website confuses the true definition.. but vermeil by definition is “gold plating by an electroplating process.” Its more durable and uses more actual gold than “plating” but both are inferior to “gold bonding.” That said, just copped a Jaxxon today🤣👍🏾
