The ratio she’s referring to is John Gottman’s 5 positive to 1 negative interactions. It’s worth highlighting the ratio is not about the optimal for a happy relationship; it’s the minimum to avoid a breakdown or deterioration. 1:1 ratio is impending divorce. The conclusions was the less issues the better, but at the very least you need to aim for 5:1 and you should aim for better. Let’s share facts…

Further, get THIS through your brain REAL quick: feminine women don't make it their business to correct their man (ESPECIALLY with a sharp tongue!!!). Asking a question bout a subject that needs further examination (correction?) is the best way to NOT have the warrior come out on you. If he gets "quiet" when you "correct" him, one or maybe two things are happening in his brain/heart - he's thinking of a reason why (figuratively?!?!?!) he shouldn't chop your head off and/or pulling away from you emotionally. Consider this: the last time you "corrected" a man what was his response? Did he respond harder than you spoke? MOST men match energy for energy. I think I understand what Danica is saying. Neither party in the relationship should be a doormat. Having said that, most modern men are not experiencing women who are doormats. They are experiencing highly disagreeable women in most of their romantic encounters. Men do not want anything like that. Most guys have plenty of women in their lives that will give them push back: mothers, sisters, daughters, former spouses, modern men have their pick of women that will give them push back in relationships if that is what is actually needed. What men want is agreeableness. None of the women I just mentioned tend to be agreeable. They are usually the first ones to challenge a man if they don’t like something or anything that he is doing with his life. Guys do not want or need that from a romantic partner.

Now that I’m at retirement I just want to live a peaceable life. The old life paradigm supported this approach since a couple would grow old together and by the time they reached retirement age the conflicts would be long ago resolved and both would know and accept each other however, divorce has changed that. Now that my wife has left me and I am living a peaceable lifestyle on my own I am loath to change that by inviting another woman into my life.

I recently had a realization about this one thing - You often see people complaining that many modern women turned themselves into the men they want - headstrong & argumentative, successful (OF), often bad bitches with lots and lots of sexual experience. And people criticize this - "how are they so stupid to not see this will not work?". But than take a look at some guys. How many of them are agreeable, niceguy people pleasers? I know everybody tells men to not be that, but I have never seen it mentioned that it is exactly the same as what women are doing. You show exactly those characteristics you are looking for in a partner, without the understanding they want something completely different. For one I think this is superinteresting and also that it can very clearly illustrate to women, that guys really want nicegirls. That is the only reason guys are "niceguys". Because they genuinly believe that is how you can be a best partner to somebody. My ex challenged me more than any other person I have ever met. It was superfucking annoying and pointless, I am very grateful she is gone and hope to never meet another one like that.

It's fascinating that Danica kept asking "What's the point of a relationship?". That is a very good question. Since men are the gatekeepers of relationships, she needs to learn to ask and answer that question through the prism of MEN. That means the question should really be, "What's the point of a relationship for men?". That leads back to the question "Do men want 'challenging' women?". Challenging = competition. Men are meant to compete with men; men and women were never meant to compete with each other. Therefore, the answer is NO. Heterosexual men aren't looking to have relationships with other men, which is what Danica is between the ears. Danica seems incapable of understanding this simple concept because she's so far into her masculine energy and continues to fail to see the consequences of choosing to put herself into a competitive male dominated profession. She's the epitome of modern "feminism", which is a misnomer because it teaches women that it's cool to act like men, and there's no consequences for it. While they may have that right, again, it comes with a lot of consequences, and modern females like her seem to have buyer's remorse in accepting responsibility for their choices. If one is looking for an accurate definition of "toxic masculinity", that definition should be women trying to act like men. Men acting like men isn't "toxic". The vibe I get from the video is that none of this has even begun to sink in for her either; the light is on, but nobody is home. The wall remains undefeated.

Women have been pushed so far to masculinity that even her being respectful and trying to be feminine still holds strong feminism tropes that are completely inaccurate and men simply don’t want. Bless this generation of women and chances in relationships 🥲
@bigger62265 Жыл бұрын
Well said. The lack of self awareness and inability to change is how the population of middle age single women is growing so fast.

The polarity of masculine and feminine energy is off balance. Think of the yin and Yang symbol, it’s 80/20 not 50/50. Without polarity there’s no attraction. This women has a masculine heart, passionate, ambitious, disagreeable, she can’t polarize with an alpha male. Like putting the two positive sides together on a magnet create repulsion, the alchemy of attraction is no different.
@medicisounds1384 Жыл бұрын
This. Men can have a feminine quality to them but it has to be the minimum. Not 50/50

You are so Interesting to me because of how deeply you understand the truths about females vs males. Everything you say is so spot on. As female, some of the content is offending but admittedly it’s because you have women figure out and nailed down perfectly with how bitchy we can be, demanding plus the fact we turn men into beta, weak men and are oblivious to the fact we made them this way because they only try to please us, try to make us happy, then we find them unattractive, unknowingly because of our own actions being the cause. I guess what’s interesting is how in the world, have you figured these things out so intricate, to the point of even helping women understand WHY they see their spouse/boyfriend as beta, when most of us can’t see this when it’s two feet in front of our face? What resources? I have to say, usually only individuals who’s been hurt profoundly within a relationship or in whatever circumstance, becomes knowledgeable and more wise to whatever has impacted one’s life deeply as in hurt. You were strengthened profoundly because of though beyond measure. Super interesting content and I just ordered your book for my son. 🙏. I disagree and feel I’m being honest with some things as well but mostly admit everything you’ve figured out about women is the truth.

Argh! My now ex-wife tried to constantly and consistently "betasize me by a thousand concessions" during our entire marriage (late January 2007 - late October 2013). And, admittedly, I did venture into beta male simp territory in a desperate and futile attempt to save my deteriorating marriage. Guess what? She divorced me anyways. I am very angry at myself for allowing myself to stoop so low. But I learnt my lesson... no matter what, never simp and never become beta.

Marriage is about something greater than yourself. If both are looking merely for what they can get out of it, the relationship becomes transactional, and destined to fail when they no longer receive it. It's not just about feelings.
@sylon77175 ай бұрын
No marriage is about yourself, your partner and the kids. That’s it. If there are kids the parents must be happy or the kids won’t be. Unless you are talking about the biblical kind. If you are then we must go WAY back to where men are head of the house because of all the crap they deal with at work. However, I think that ship has sailed my friend. Feminism is live and well in church today.
@jontallman5 ай бұрын
@@sylon7717 I agree that the husband and wife must put their relationship first. If it becomes all about the kids, what do they have when the kids leave? I also believe marriage works best when the man has the final say in family decisions, while also respecting his wife's judgment and expertise where applicable. I sympathize with trying to find a woman with traditional values in this day and age. I found mine in church thirty years ago.

Although, I have no issue living alone and can take care of myself quite well, whilst still helping the community when I can. Though I will give marriage & Family an honest effort, giving my absolute best. However, if things aren’t good I would leave/separate once the kids are 18. Wishing you all the best. 🙏

The term is "self-sacrifice". Men learn early the value in supporting each other. (Sports, military, etc.) Women (and definitely Danica) are always trying to be "independently" powerful. These women are terrible partners as they only serve themselves. They challenge men to exert their individual dominance - not to work as a team. Avoid them at all costs. And men who cry aren't weak. They are human...ones who often care more about others than they do themselves. Being an honorable and self-sacrificing man is often a lonely and painful road. A few tears are nothing to be ashamed of. Men must be proud of their strength, honor,...and their heart.

Men don't need a challenge at home just like a racing driver doesn't need extra challenges besides those he's already facing. I wish Rich had used this analogy: a man needs his partner to be like the mechanics during pit stop: helping him get as fast as possible back on track and on to winning the race - not as a source of additional challenge, say, by slapping some engine oil over his tires or by unscrewing a wheel or two. That's called sabotage in the man's book, or, atvthe very least, a nuisance, a totally uncalled for interference.
