Well it's definitely not cheap if you need jewelers' + vaal orbs, especially in ssf, vaals are okay-ish but jewelers drop rate is abysmally low even with the recent patch buff

I was just thinking you could do this. And once it hits, just use your forestack until you get a greater's jewelers. Orb, and then make another one and upgrade the new 1 properly with the greater's orb. Do it doing this would just get you by until. You could do it the right way

Considering the things you explained in this vid, could you please make another highlighting which skills benefit most from quality and which ones not so much? Always always, get 20% quality before vaal orb. If it is a good corrupt can get 23% quality and maybe a level or 2 in skill gems. Armor or weapon make sure it's at 20% quality. Poe 1 tip for everyone

Yes, you cannot remove Corruption once its converted over.

Corruption has a chance at raising the Quality above 20% or it can brick it. It's all Chance. Good Luck.

I’m lvl 67 and only have 3 links…it’s damn near impossible to even get 4 links on ps5. Drops on val and lesser jewelers orb are so low. Trade option sucks ass on ps5. Honestly the games getting a bit boring now with this system being so difficult just to get more sockets. Gonna call the game quit soon

Tell me about it the only reason I have a 4. I found 1 greater jeweler orb and used it on my main. Meanwhile everybody on KZbin has multiple 5s lol

@@Korrekteur i have saw reviews on steam where people state that they are level 92+ and didn't find a single 4-5 links gems. NOT ONE! On top of that they had horrible time vaaling their gems so they can get a 4 link one. With all due respect but this is BS mechanic for me.... I have no intention farming hunderds of hours in order to upgrade the damage of a single skill with10-20%

Correct - once you corrupt there's no adding more sockets nor quality but you can upgrade. This is to get you more damage while waiting for rare greater jeweler's orb drops. Worth it imo.

Yeah that's me. I run this channel alone. I noticed I said Rows first which later in the video I corrected myself saying Columns. In post, I made sure to add a note for those that caught that. You're the only one so far 🍻

This is helpful but considering how expensive prisms are on the market might just as well save your exalted orbs to buy a greater jewelers orb and at least you don’t have to worry about corruption.

I do this to get by for more damage in the interim. I recommend doing the same. No need for GCP as you wait for the true setup.

You can achieve more Support Slots via Jeweler's Orbs or Gamble with Vaal Orbs. The 5 and 6 Socket Jeweler's Orbs are extremely Rare drops and very expensive on the market. This method is to tie you over until you get that Rare drop.

As a new ARPG player, I love PoE2, but I don't understand why you would have a gambling system in place of a proper intentional crafting system. Seems counter intuitive and frustrating to me, although I do understand that it makes really good items even more rare.

The gambling is meant to keep you playing more. It's an addiction tactic they use in PoE 1 and worked so it stayed.

POE1 had a mix of random and determination crafting, the biggest thing missing is alteration orbs which lets you reroll blue items. This was important for the rng crafting. I’m sure it will be added in the future as POE through its 10 years looks so different to what it was like in its Beta period.
