Your beds look great. For sturdy trellises to grow melons etc. on, cattle panels from IFA would be easy and work great!!!

Thanks for posting... love the veggie beds. We have a 150+lb tortoise that we grow the green for! Pls post your "recipe" for the egg food mix you made, tks!

Awesome! Is it a sulcata tortoise that you have? My egg food consists of fresh chopped carrots, and hard boiled eggs with the shell. I do add any and all green veggies that are available and in season. “Romaine, kale, broccoli, spinach, etc.” I also add Higgins dry egg food mix. I put all of that together and lightly blend.

@@birdnerd Yep, he's a sulcata! Do you put it in the food processor? It looks pretty fine in consistency.

Yes I blend my carrots and broccoli first. Then i empty those into the container and then blend my lettuces and eggs together and the add those to the container with the carrots. I then add my dry mixes to the eggfood and stir them all together.

Hi Chris, love the channel and the podcasts... I'm wondering if you can tell me how long I need to keep button quail under a light......? Their about 4 weeks now ...I have some new ones hatching today. And need brooder box for them. It's autumn here and nights are down to 12c

As long as they are fully feathered they should be ok. With it getting cooler there it may be beneficial to still have a heat source for them at night when it gets cooler. Once acclimatized button quail can be fairly hardy to cold temperatures.
