I'm looking for something I can do yard work in. Taller tires for clearance of roots sticking up in my backyard. I use a manual chair for inside work but would love to see more rugged types. I was just approved through PT evaluation for a power chair and waiting for next appointment for fitting.

I have used a scooter in the past, & can’t understand why you are pushing them so hard. If someone gave me one, I wouldn’t accept it. They are difficult to pull up to a table in, & hard to turn around in, for instance, in an elevator. I admit they are too heavy for one person to lift & put in a car, but with the lighter weight materials, I feel they will be making lighter versions soon. The current electric chair I have is easily transported on an airline. Does mobility Direct sell Electric Wheelchairs?
