What was Sega thinking of the price seriously, it was ok for Gaiden to pre-order but why 70 dollars for this game wtf, gaming prices is dead if thats the case, I seen many other games like Tekken 8, or other games be overpriced asf Yakuza 7, was ok (but not a good game) but my lord the side content to beat this game killed it, ya know they could have done instead of Turn based, 4 Player Multiplayer Beat Em Up, thats a better idea than turn based, cuz its real time

Won't lie - I prefer LAD 7 & Will prefer LAD 8 over the previous Yakuza Games. Don't be such a wet flannel. The game has rebranded and moved away from the Beat Em Up Elements. You can say what you like, but Turn Based JRPG's are what I enjoy most, getting the Cutscenes is part of it being great - having a gallery to view the cutscenes is great. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I understand your stance on Ultimate should be in Standard Edition, but your whole argument is flawed - because your main gripe is the new gameplay direction.

Yeah this review is just cope. Bro played Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 6, which happened to be two of the weaker entries, and even then barely got through them even if he was cutscene skipping, which is bad in of itself. And on pricing? Bro, that's what Lost Judgement, Sega's previous smash hit in the franchise also cost, and people ate it up. And the worst part, is that you speak as if you just discovered this game today. You don't speak about any of the previous games or Sega's history of marketing pre-order bonuses. You don't speak about how they re-added DLCs to the main game after it came out as updates. And the way you described the Jrpg. That's how I knew you didn't watch the trailers. You didn't even mention being able to move around in combat, allowing for greater options. Just Attack and Block. What is this? Yakuza 3? Oh...that's right.

i'm tired of the ryu no gotoku franchise, i will always be into the sonic franchise regardless of it's issues (i always liked the games from the mid-2000s to late 2010s aslong as it's a 'sonic team' developed game, or not from post-ironist people who kissed off the 90s image of the sonic franchise)
