You are correct. I had purchased POCO X2 18months ago but after MIUI update it started heating up so badly while using rear camera and now rear camera is dead. Now motherboard need to be changed @10000/- bad experience. I was planning to purchase POCO F4 but after the bad experience with POCO X2 I will never purchase POCO and MI phone. I was a huge fan of POCO/MI phones but POCO lost the trust. Do not purchase POCO/MI phones.

I've been using poco f4 since 1 month now and I don't see any issues. Yes camera is not that good but it doesn't bother me. I'm a heavy phone user and phone is working fantastically. You're saying again and again about the motherboard issue but that wasn't the issue in "F" series, it was a issue in poco x3. Don't forget Samsung's note series also had issues, OnePlus nord also had issues. Currently iphone 13 also has a major issue. Yes i agree in the past poco rejected to replace the device but that doesn't mean that the future phones will be pathetic. I can guarantee that the way i use my phone, only a few percent of people use like that and still the phone is performing great, not to mention I'm using the beta launchers etc etc. Only time will tell how this phone holds up in long duration.

2 week back, I have also purchased F4 guys .... Just want to share the honest review ! The very first day it was heating like a hell also the camera was nothing compared to F1. I regretted a lot & thought of returning the product. But Flipkart has blocked the return option for me because I had written a negative comments about the phone. I had the option to either reach out to brand or file a complaint on Flipkart. During the time i got engaged in one family issue and the 7 days return period was over. When i sorted all issues, i had only one option left which is go for warranty as they have given 2 years warranty. I thought before reaching out to service centre or brand, let's explore a little more in phone. I got to see an update option, I clicked on updates, after update, i saw good improvements like phone is not heating any more unless it is kept on charging. Also the camera is little better. Now I am ok with the phone. If there is any issue, i will check with brand but for now it's fine. The best thing about the phone is it's battery, all the specifications it has is of flagship level only but few features of this phone is not even comparable to poco F1 so i can not say that it is better than F1 ... I am using both the phones but F1 is still better. ✌️

I used Poco X3 Pro last time after 10 months its dead after software update. I visit Service centre & they provide me some others phone option for replacement, but i denied to replace. After 20 days i got my product with change of my motherboard without any extra cost payment. As my opinion motherboard problem covers under warranty.

Poco x3 was having issues which was more cheaper version around 15k. The issue was poco had two OS versions, one was global and one was for India. They didn't pay much attention to the Indian version and because of bugs the motherboard crashed. With poco f4 they have fixed that issue. Now there is only one Global version for everyone. Now if anything happens then it'll happen in the whole world so they thought it carefully and fixed it.
