@@kevinW826 I own a 2022 Outlander and it's third row has been great many times over these two years. Most people don't have a seven seats vehicle; even a small third row helps. We have two kids and we pick the smallest kids to seat on the third row when going out with their friends. It's useless for adults and bigger kids though.

Maybe we should avoid cars & go with a bicycle because for 1 it does not have the latest tech nor complicated electronics, & 2, you can travel long distances on a bike. The only thing it needs is pop proof tires & brake-proof chains that'll last you forever. Please reply ASAP. Luis

@omarpulido85022 ай бұрын
Government subsidies. . .they were bailed out in 2008. Jeep and Ram cars sell well and Dodge hellcats have a niche and lucrative market. The people that lease one or can afford one don't care about the long term reliability because they will have moved on to the next car by the time it starts being unreliable, and the second owner can pick it up for cheap because of its poor reliability.
@islanddon8652 ай бұрын
@@omarpulido8502 All that sounds great till you realize that because of their declining resale value, the leasing "money factor" gets adjusted, so YOU get stuck making up the difference in lost value with a much fatter lease payment. So leasing is like putting a band-aid on a melanoma. And besides, who wants to be regularly returning for warranty service???
@omarpulido85022 ай бұрын
@@islanddon865 Stellantis buyers can usually get a decent discount on a new car because there is a lot of excess inventory (nobody wants a Stellantis product) so that helps offset plenty of depreciation. To me this looks like a weird list of cars. A bunch of SUV´s, a MPV and finaly Toyota Prius Since when has SUVs and MPVs been good cars? An SUV is an atempt to make a practical car, that is not all to clumsy. MPV´s aren´t really out there anymore. And any car with anything that sounds, feels and behaves like a CVT transmission, can´t be a good car from a drivers point of view. They´re terrible all of them, and they don´t really make any sense anymore, since the best automatics are just as efficient, can handle higher torqe, and they even last longer than CVT´s. I like the design of the Prius though, but it is really an old mans car.

They are saying to avoid it until changes are made to the interaction of the electric propulsion system and the gas engine, which some even claim is shocking and unsafe.

I don't want a hybrid that needs to be plugged in. I can see myself laying down to go to sleep only to realize I forgot to plug my car in. I have a feeling a lot of people after a certain time stop bothering with plugging them in. I'll just stick with a regular hybrid.
@demcomp2 ай бұрын
That's not the way they work. They are HYBRIDS first, plug-in second. They have a larger battery, and have a longer all-electric range. But once the battery is depleted, the gasoline engine kicks in, recharging the battery, and driving the vehicle. If you don't want to plug it in, then don't. You don't have to, but it allows you to get 'X' amount of miles on purely electric driving at highway speeds if you plug it in, before it uses the gasoline engine. So maybe learn about the tech before making assumptions about it.
