MS is just a ticket to the US, prepare for leetcode style interviews before you apply for MS. make sure you're ready for them. Academics don't matter, I've copied assignments, faked a research paper, and a lot more that I cannot say here. If you can crack the interview you'll get the job, the only thing that matters is DSA and leetcode, spending 10 hours a day on that shitty coursework which is completely irrelevant to what is actually required makes no sense at all.

A short summary for people in a hurry. However, I will strongly suggest watching the video in its entirety to actually understand his reasoning behind the points. 1. Do not come only for practical aspects of education or the quality of education. 2. It’s gonna be hard. Your peers will be incredibly competent and hard working. Be ready for a lot of work pressure. 3. Once you’re in the USA, you’ll be stuck in a job. It’s not easy to build a startup/ business in the USA. Also, your job will not change very much or get magically sorted out. 4. You should be able to handle the high levels of stress/ pressure/ loneliness. Master’s degrees can be very stressful. 5. Remember that it is possible to accrue heavy loans for completing your Masters. Reconsider if you will have to take heavy loans and have no alternate/ contingent ways of paying the loans back.

My reasons to go to the US are: I don't like living here, I want to live in the US Half of my family is in the US. My brother is working in the US I am an average student, and I cannot handle the highly competitive market here. I don't have great academics, but I can grasp quick, and I can learn things. We are financially well, so I don't have a loan burden. I know the dark side and also the bright side of a student life in the US as many in my family have been there, I can actually live with my brother if I get to study in a university that has offline classes.

All points diminish with fact that average salary of engineer in rupees is 8-10lakh(avg without adding taxes), whereas in us it's i guess it is atleast 100k( without tax, somewhere near 70lakh). And no u need visa to get job in us, for which i guess ms is safest option. So basically we will earn 10 times more, than what we get in India for same job irrespective of interest,.ain't this right?
