Where does everyone learn about what hunters are good on what maps with what bans and comps to look for? I feel like everyone just *has* this knowledge and I'm running around trying to learn. Because all of this advice is solid, I just need the context to go with it. Anyone with help is appreciated

Most players learn through experience overtime, slower hunters/hunters that don’t excel in their chase suck against strong kiters. Hunters that are strong campers suck against decoders for lack of map control. Non double hit hunters (BQ/geisha/nightwatch) tend to have strong chases but weak camping which makes characters like merc/FO a pain. Etc… I’ll make a video on hunter/surv counters soon.

I highly recommend you watch tournament gameplay as there is often good insight on matches there. Try IVLychee

14:35 ban also depends on which hunter you are playing. Im a joker main and i have to ban ento or else 100% i will lose the match because of the bees support. I also ban pristress along with ento.

I usually ban priestess+antiq but every once in a while I like to troll and ban prisoner cause I've noticed barely anyone in my tier knows how to play other decoders lol

This is a very good video ,but I wonder if there are situations where you can’t go out and pressure survivors or do you want to do that always I main feaster and play ann if the survivors counters feaster or feaster ban. I’m quite a blind hunter and I used go leave the chair when I was in croc ,but I usually cannot find the dead on chair survivor after I leave the chair. Luckily I haven’t lost any matches due to this because I was able to secure my ties Anyways, I wonder if feaster or another hunters that relies on camping is able to leave chairs?

It depends on the hunter, however with the new trait that just came out it’ll be much easier to pressure people

I know the video has 1 year, but im a beginner on hunter, and i have a really bad chasing. do you have any tip on doing it? the survivors I play against still are low tier, but know how to kite. and also, how could I feel less anxious on playing as hunter? sorry to bother!
