Adjusting the spine of a dog that has just become paralyzed is ridiculous! "Adjusting" an unstable spine could cause permanent damage and ensure lifelong damage, even death to your pet. Beyond stupid!

If you said/meant to say "As a vet who formally specializes in [continued]" your captions used the incorrect word - it used "formerly". I so appreciate the stark recommendation to not use a pet chiropractor for paralysis in pets.

It's cheeper, and if they get fixed then we have just saved ourselves thousands of dollars. I will go to a chiropractor every time.

If you care more about money than your pet why did you get it in the first place and then what's the point of even getting him fixed if you don't want to waste money

@@budo300 , I'm just not stupid. All the vets care about is money. I would rather go to a good chiropractor any day have my pet cured in moments than go with 3000 dollar back surgery , the dog suffers, the vet gets rich, and every vet after care will end up in thousands of dollars worth of vet bills. When a visit to a chiropractor is 35.00. And they don't have to go back. So to go to a vet is completely STUPID. I WOULD PUT MY DOG DOWN BEFORE I WOULD MAKE THAT SO CALLED VET RICH and make my dog suffer through any back surgery that 99% don't work anyway.

@@Sandra-hk8ks I think the thing I'm confused about is you're saying it like the chiropractor is gonna cure paralysis and they aren't after money too I don't think the pet will be cured in seconds but I'd rather ask an actual pet doctor who studied for 4 years in college about the topic to treat my pet than a chiropractor which probably doesn't do anything anyway I think it might be so expensive because it actually works

As a human, I can tell you, chiropractors are just out for the money too. I had a chiropractor adjust my thoracic back, and caused my 2 rib to go out of place. It was very painful! I happened to have an appt. later with my pain management Dr. and he could feel the rib was OUT. He gave me numbing shots in the front and back, and told me to go back to the chiropractor, to have him put it back in place, while I was numb. When I told this to the chiropractor, he told me it would take weeks of adjustments, to put it back. In other words, he just wanted more money! I never went back, and it DID take weeks to go back in place. I'll NEVER go back to a chiropractor, nor would I take my animal to one!!😯🥴
