Good vid as usual. Old Army field trick for the jock itch. Those alcohol prep pads in the groin area are great if you can't shower every day or two. If the jock itch develops into 'jock rot', you will know it as soon as the alcohol pad is wiped across the area. You'll jump around and unintelligible words will come out of your mouth for a few minutes! Splashing isopropyl alcohol in the groin will do the same thing. It will knock back the fungus till proper showering can be had. Again, as with the pads, if the itch has gone to rot (every guy knows what I'm talking about), the splashing will cause one to bite down on a tree limb or Crescent wrench for at least five minutes. Don't let it get there!

Food Poisoning can also happen. I have Charcoal capsules ready for that. Get the brand with no added ingredients. Works great for diarrhea, food poisoning, metal removal. Also, Colloidal silver comes in various ppm strengths. I buy 2 Oz. Bottles in ready-made doses. Your local healthfood store should have a variety and info. Look for a store using the national independent food distributors. Not just a big chain grocery store. Also, can inhale Colloidal silver and peppermint and eucalyptus oil inhalers are awesome to help open sinuses.

Just took a suture and staple course recently, The nurse putting on the course said that while alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are good, they can tend to do more damage to tissue. They suggested saline solution instead. Simply saline in the can or there are also other products that are not as harsh. I believe always good to have options. I stock them all. Different jobs require different tools. Great video - working on my first aid supplies and kits currently. Had let them get depleted and out of date over the years. One of the things that we have done is buy the packets ("single use") of various ointments instead of the tubes. Longer lasting, less waste, less chance for contamination of the tube.

Just a reminder about colloidal silver to any or everyone. Great anti-biotic but it should NEVER be ingested. Great for wounds, bad, bad for kidneys. I'm sure the craze of drinking that stuff has died down maybe a decade ago...but I still see vids calling for ingestion. Back in the early 2000's, I worked in pathology in a state's medical examiners office. In three autopsies, I saw damage from colloidal silver. All three bodies were under 30yo.

I have a big Rubbermaid container full of all types of first aid supplies. After my nephew was in a motorcycle accident, I realized how much gauze you can used up treating large areas. Great video! I am a nurse and been a nurse for 11 years, almost 12. Here are a few thoughts. One huge correction. Do not take Tylenol if you have Liver issues. The Tylenol can harm the liver. Do NOT take Tylenol when you drink alcohol. Tylenol is better for headaches. Think anything above the neck (minus teeth). Again DO NOT TAKE A LOT! 2000mg max in 24hrs to be on the super safe side. Do NOT take ibuprofen when you have Kidney issues. It will kill the kidneys! And it is most useful for large muscle groups (anything below the neck) and teeth for the anti-inflammatory products. But beware. DO NOT TAKE A LOT!!! It will kill your kidneys. Be careful when taking cold medicines with acetaminophen in it. Do not take extra Tylenol with it. Do not use hydrogen peroxide on cuts/wounds. Does more harm than good. Another with wounds. There is an OTC wound cleaner spray that is non medicated but GREAT to clean wounds and skin. It has a massive kick to it. 😂😂😂😂 it’s super pressurized. You can also buy practice suture kits if you really want to be prepared! I have one (I’m a nurse and want to learn more trauma things. I’m not an ER nurse though) and it comes with actual sutures. I have been watching KZbin videos.
