As for Camellya, I honestly don't have any interest in pulling for her, but then again I said the same thing about Jinshi. It really depends on her role. If she ends up being a Havoc main Dps like some rumors suggest then she's an easy skip for me; especially since I'll already have Changli, Jinshi and Xiangli Yao.

tbh i can see them using a slot for a rerun because technically genshin did the same at the beginning of the game. they only started doing double banners because the roster got too big and characters would otherwise take forever to rerun. with hsr, they did start double banners earlier which was a surprise to everyone but i think it was because they knew they were gonna release 2 characters per patch for a while. in my opinion i dont think wuwa is at a state where they need double banners yet since characters were so recent but who knows :00

I do think it was a bad idea for them to reveal or drip markets anything from 1.3 so early. It would have been better if they had drip marketed shorekeeper in the midst of 1.2 like half way through zheshi's banner to get most out of it. The fact that kuro hasn't drip marketed another 5 star kind of tells me that they aren't 100% decided who they want to run in that patch as of yet.

Personally hoping that 1.3 will be the introduction of the Black Shores area and storyline along with banners for Camellya and Shorekeeper. That would be one explosive update. 1.2 is obviously a filler update.

I was actually surprised that they reviled shorekeeper so early would have expected them to do this a few days in 1.2. Also dose make sense what you saying but I still could see them doing a single character rerun. I mean we will get an new 4 star and that would require them to finish 3 new characters at once and also working on new maps as well as new story. I expect them to save Camilla for second halve of 1.4 and than also releasing an crazy unit in 2.0 first half like scar or Geshi Lin.

I mean they could go the HSR route having reruns alongside the new characters, but given the PS5 release for WW could be soon, it does make sense if they gonna start reruns. So high chance Jiyan or Yinlin could take up that spot for a new character and Shorekeeper is the only new character. Still I wont complain if Camellya is dripped later either. Still great video!

I think what you said makes total sense. Regarding Camellya I’ve also read to that she might be in 1.4. Regardless though what I read was 1.3 would feature 2 brand new 5 stars so totally agree with your logic. Honestly speaking I played PGR a few years ago and not only do I know that Kuro CAN just have one 5 star in one patch, and if you were to look at genshin impact, they started with reruns in 1.4. I think it's good for Kuro to take a bit of a break, and their sales will definitely be bad in 1.2, but their 1.3 sales will also make up for it (I'm a light spender, but I'll definitely top up in 1.2 to guarantee Shorekeeper and her weapon) Also I do agree that drip marketing 1.3 characters this early was a bad move for their sales lmao (I don't think that Camellya will get her banner in 1.3 though.. it feels a bit early and scuffed, and we'd 100% have already gotten her drip marketing if that was the case lmao)

Yeah i have been thinking why they reveal shorekeeper before even 1.2 didnt drop live yet. It could have been better marketing after 2nd half of the event they reveal that lady. Now 50% f2p all around the world will totally skip 1.2 even tho zhezhi is top tier sub dps/ buffer for glacio future dps + cordinate attack generator battery. I think kuro games should be take care of thier future plans about releasing leaks n trailers and reveals.

Tbf while there is a hype for zhezhi and xiangli yao, u gotta admit the hype was not nowhere near jiyan, yinlin, jinshi and changli. U put any of these 4 beside 1.2 characters and u already know which will make more sales. Also personally 1.2 feels like a “thank u” patch by Kuro for expanding into Playstation by giving xiangli yao for free. It would already be their lowest profiting patch, so how would they reduce the losses? Zhezhi…how? By making her a support to the latest released and strongest DPS. Hence, i feel part of it is design consistency…when u compare a character designed with an integrated role vs character that feels like a role was slapped onto them, it does produce a “weaker” character identity…(but who knows, i may just eat my own words)

Wuthering Waves will be at games on in a few weeks and they were recently at PlayStation in China. If they release on PlayStation, they need a re run. Two 5 stars and a re run is too much for new players. Lastly, the next character probably won’t be Carmellya because we do not yet have a 5 star Pistols character yet.

1.2 is mid. Zhezhi’s animations and the dev decision to give her jiggle physics was stupid. That took away the selling point of her design, “elegance”. Women aren’t made out of jello, every time I see Zhezhi’s animations I just laugh/cringe. Xiangli yao isn’t too bad but that’s the problem. He gives off 4* vibes from his design. They over did it with Zhezhi to the point of it being goofy and under did it with Xiangli Yao.

Sorry bro I can't remember where I read it. I do agree with you about the hype dying down for 1.2 cause of shorekeeper, but tbh a low spender or f2p would almost certainly skip her anyways. I don't actually mind a re run if we get 1 new 5 star and 1 new 4 star for 1.3 and 1.4. We need to give the console homies time to catch up to us plus I see it as a good thing. We save more for gushu lin and provlova.

Shorekeeper is the first 5 star healer/support that isn't standard. So as a limited, she should be very useful/meta. Especially if the rumor of her doing damage/domain as well is true.

As a collector, I really don't care about meta or whether a character is good or bad. I just need to get a copy of every character and their weapon. Also, I just hope for 4stars to have their own exclusive weapons. so KURO PLEASE... I'm also hyped about Camellya and the Shorekeeper, but I'm ok with kUro's pacing.. 1 character per patch is way better for collectors like me with limited resources/budget.

"Is it worth rolling for Zhezhi?" For min-maxxers yes to pair her with Jinhsi For f2p probably just for the aesthetics,if they love the character,if they don't have a glacio sub-dps. It's not entirely a problem for f2p but for those people who wants everything in their account maybe. The 1 5* and 1 4* is typical in PGR in it's 1st year since there they let the 4* farmable in the event, so it's not a surprise for people who plays PGR and got used to that see this as alright
