It was more a failed connection. when it goes to repetitive music, thats a way to make it easier to get into altered state of mind(trance-like state) which makes it easier to follow suggestions, but dont worry because it doesnt work in a way that someone could just control your mind or send subliminal messages through music, you need to be willingly and conciously trying to get into it with meditation psychology of religions is very interesting

I'd say that dance is a pretty fire outro, maybe with some better music though. On another note, the repetitiveness of Shoko Asahara's lyrics is part of how he gets to you I think. If you repeat a word enough times, it eventually just becomes noise and your conscious brain shuts off after a while. That's when they begin slipping little suggestions into your subconscious brain. By the time the song is over and your conscious brain wakes up, you may not even remember hearing the suggestions, but they're already in your system. Catchy tunes work to distract the conscious mind in a similar way too.

I thought this was gonna be about Acid Mothers Temple a musicians collective who had some association with Aum or Aleph. They are a seriously amazing psychedelic rock band who's core members are essentially a Japanese Jimi Hendrix(Mokoto Kowabata) and a Japanese Gandolf(Hagashi Hiroshi). Their connection to Aum was very thin apparently they had a few members who used to be involved, but the band has a rotating lineup of probably 100 musicians in their lifetime. They could be considered a cult but, more a collective/commune because they apparently all live on a compound in the mountains together. I've met some of them and Mokoto on two different occasions in the US, and they are super nice despite not being able to speak much English. You should seriously do a video on them and get an interview.

Regarding the second Aum song, "Sonshi", it kinda reminds me of North Korean songs praising Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-Il, and Kim Jong-Un, though many of the latter are of much higher musical and performance quality than "Sonshi" by far.
