I went to college for Drafting and Engineering Technology back in 1985. I ended up, 10 years later, with a 27 year career in manufactring as a machinist and CNC programmer and manufacturing consultant. But, the first was NOT directly related to the last. My manufacturing career was more closely related to my years spent as a mechanic and repairman. Now I have gone full circle and I am back to being a mechanic and mechanical system troubleshooter.
