I think you are partly wrong, because: We normal players most of the time only have a limited ammount of usefull units. Depending on strength, bracket and if playing capped or not you are limited to 1-5 troops.(Lets say 3 as example) Those 3 troops use up your RCs, PPs, Wrenches, g++ parts, at some point even Ammo, EXP and Gears are a limitation. Its more usefull to focus on ONLY awakening the 6 officers you need on those troops as primary target, but the very next target is to max the best learnable skills for those 6 officers(you can use your brain and prefer skills from officers you might want to awaken later). If you are at that stage, you just collect statues till you either get an additional usefull unit, you switching to another unit OR lilith releasing a new officer. I always did it that way and i am always sitting on 700-3000 statues as a F2P/CSP(casual spending player) and i am almost always ready to react to new situations with new metas or new OP officers.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The reason why I suggested this is because when you do have say all troops being used you then have ten officers in play. Now by that time Lilith will have released a lot of new officers. So instead of just retiring those officers u had awakened use their skills instead of just lvling 1 skill on 1 officer. Your now saving statues for the newer officers and more adaptable because u'll have 3 skills to choose from instead of 1 for when the situation changes. Like I said my opinion here and there honestly isn't a right or wrong answer in this topic

@@---FUBAR--- its not a black/white thing, thats why we can share opinions and argue about them. Your theory would be right, or more close to it, if we could learn more than one skill from an officer. But at the moment you would need 30 awakened ground officers(27.000 statues) for 5 ground units and another 12 awakened Air officers(8640 statues) for 2 Air units --> 35640 Statues in total. If you would only awaken the officers you actually run on your units (10G+4A = 10080 statues) and you only max the best fitting skills for those(20+8 = 5040) you would only need 15120 Statues in total. We both know that both assumptions are utopic, but the closer you stay on awakening as few officers as possible, the more effective you are. I Spent around 22k statues and i got 20 awakened ground officers + 6 awakened air officers + 23 maxed single Skills to fill up the learning slots. I would be far behind if i would only awaken officers instead. please think about my examples.

I’m around the same power as you and have been thinking about going to silver 1. Just trying for a more chill fun less stressful TOC. Gold can be very stressful at times

Idk man, some of the skills are badass and make the officers you put them on much more beneficial. For ex: addtl crit strike, and skill dmg ect. Well worth the 180 imo.

Oh 100% but in my opinion it is better to awaken a whole officer so later on when you phase the officer out u have more skills available for the skill tab system

You are OP in Silver, and everyone above your level and even millions of point below you are OP too. Even if you don't attack, most Silver players can't even think in attack your base

@---FUBAR--- let's say you are the noble one. Good. But, the fact that you put your base outside the SZ in any strategy position, will block a lot of silver players from from taking Villages, for example

This is why the rally system is in place. Honestly my base HP 517m so it is still not that difficult to move. Also currently I am not running uncle in my setup as well so bear these facts in mind. I have purposely downgraded to make it fair in almost all respects@@dagavidiab

one guy having 6 8.1 unit in silver is not fair for other players, you just have to remember a 8.1 unit have to tank your base and also most of the players that are playing silver, they either dont have more then 2 8.1 unit or they are unexperienced. i hate when people are bragging about kills in silver, when they should be playing gold.
