Deliverer is a great pistol for the early to mid game, but if you get a regular 10mm VATS Enhanced drop (same effect as Deliverer) then you can swap to that and be set. Deliverer best upgrades are barely mid tier of the regular 10mm. Wastelander's Friend is even better than you think. Due to the way the game is coded, enemy heads are considered limbs. Meaning you can get even more bonus dmg on headshots than you would otherwise. If you want to make use of the Thirst Zapper, you have to complete the main Nuka-World quest and get the power back on, then go back into the Bottling Plant and into the Beverageer Lab

Current playthrough is a Minuteman gunslinger, and I beelined for the Vitale Pumphouse once .44 ammo started appearing shops. Gainer has been my main weapon through all of Far Harbor thanks to the fire DOT on enemies. That makes them so much easier to track in the fog and darkness. Just got a Quickdraw .44 legendary drop today so I've switched over to that

totally off-topic, but has anyone else noticed of had trouble with the ballistic weave? i went early on (lvl 20) and did the railroad missions but tinker tom never mentioned or has mentioned the ballistic weave and even though i've done all the main railroad missions, and have armourer perk 4 & science perk 2, the ballistic weave option never shows up in any of my armour craft stations, i'm now level 41 and still can't get my ballistic weave lol

The thing about Old Faithful is that you can modify it into a charging sniper laser rifle. Take the double damage at target full health and you have a great first strike weapon.
