Normal water available at stores at ₹20/- are packaged drinking water made from RO process & devoid of any minerals. Mineral water in India is expensive to the tune of above ₹100/- a litre eg Aqua etc. But agree to Dada's view point.

hamare desh mein bahut bada samasya hain. hum log jo Bisleri, Aquafina, Kinley, etc ko mineral water samjhte hain, woh sab packaged drinking water hain. Even bottle mein bhi wahi likha rahta hain. kahi bhi mineral term use nahi kiya jata hain. toh kya hum log yeh packaged drinking water mix kar sakte hain kya? pls revert.

I am not challanging the finer tastes of expensive whisky drinkers (25/50000 a bottle) but a good rum with cranberry juice and good old tap water will give you the same bloody kick. It’s best to drink a good whiskey neat. Maybe add few drops of water to open up the whiskey. If whiskey needs to be diluted to make it more palatable, then stop drinking it.

Can I use RO filtered water...or add a good size cube of ice? I like sipping neat but then I tend to drink more than my age (85+) would allow. I use water at room temperature and not from the fridge. Tonic water makes the damn thing too bloody sweet. Suggestions please? The other water you suggest will make the damn thing too bloody expensive for a Fauzy. Cheers.

Dada, not fully agreeing with you. Mineral water is produced in large quantities either by Reverse Osmosis or by ion exchange methods. During this process the water becomes neutral and void of any minerals. Human gut needs certain nutrients and minerals, hence small dosages of minerals are infused before bottling. All water based products including beverages medicinal products etc are produced in DM water. Nowadays as a product gimmick some companies are selling Alkaline water and pH 7 water.

U didnt get him, what he is actually trying to say is, when v r drinking, that time v should use distilled water, yes it is true v need minerals but whn v r drinking v r enjying it n at that tym. V can elevate our experience because distilled water doesn't have its own character. Remember ghat ghat ka pani pina, because water DOES have its own taste and flavour due to its TDS .
