I was having this conversation with my homie last night. Once you get to a certain amount of pairs and you're a sneakerhead that actually wears your kicks you start to look at pairs like "why are you still here🤷🏿‍♂️?". Kicks you've bought multiple times, repetitive colorways, pairs you know you will never get around to wearing. I don't want to be a collector and just have every shoe. Don't get me wrong, a part of me wants to have every shoe I think is dope. But a bigger part of me doesn't want to just hoard sneakers. I want to wear my kicks. The Jordan 11 is the greatest sneaker of all time and is my personal favorite. Sold my concords and my breds. No regrets. Why? Because I know I wasn't going to get around to wearing them ever if at all. Meanwhile there are sneakers I want and know I will wear. So I'm selling the ones I won't wear even if I love them and replacing them with kicks I know I will wear. What good is a sneaker if I'm have it just to say I have it?🤷🏿‍♂️
