I get the impression that after Reinier hits M+ that Scarlita is still the better choice for midspenders and lower. The smartest choice is to save up after Reinier and make the call when the next celestial comes out.

The next cele/hypo hero will be Talene and she’s op in AFK arena so she will probably be op in Journey too. She’s also a support so she comes with a lot of utility. I’m def waiting for her after M+rainer

​@dlvarcade9729 sometimes helpful, but you will get your free copy of Scarlita in All Heroes event at some point, so don't buy/pull for that 1 copy.

@@omaracbabazer9112 talene got powercrept by celestials after her but I can say that even with just 1 copy of her, she carried me hard in different modes and she outhealed my healers, her dmg is not great but she defenitly help with utility

Feels like getting Phraesto to L+ makes sense when he becomes the premier deficit pusher late game; 5 copies vs. 4 copies to get Reineir from L+ to M+ it's close. Could be that L+ Phraesto is good enough to replace Thoran on afk pushing teams; and at high deficit/difficulty (*maxed) it's looking like Thoran is a distant second

Yeah honestly I find him tankier than Thoran for sure, but Thoran is one of the least tanky among the main tankers imo

@@komodo7044 He also did a 1 vs. 1,000$ comparison vid. At one copy Phraestro won't be an upgrade but provides dece support, at L+ he could be an upgrade to the best tank in the game and at S+ he is definitely best in slot for afk pushing, top tier in pvp too... so iunno

Same here I like to run Thoran and Antandra and he replaces her pretty well considering she's mythic and he's just epic

Yeah I’m f2p and I have bout 100k of the currency to buy them from the shop, everyone is saying how Reinier is amazing but I don’t like how he looks.. he looks really ugly to me, and I mainly summon (or purchase) characters I like, so I’m saving my currency till then. Edit: there are no “premium” characters that I like rn, especially this new guy, not vibing with him at all

So who should I build next after Reinier? I am 1 copy away from mythic+ Reinierr, I have a single copy of Scarlita from the free weekly heroes. Should I build her up next? I am a mid spender, I don't plan to spend hundreds of dollars for a Celestial or Hypogean heroes.

You should probably finish Reinier and then wait for the next celestial. Which will most likely be a mage. If you don’t like the new celestial, then go nuts and invest on Scarlita.

Don't need to tell me twice. I'm f2p and am unable to access the champion store. From all the stargazer orbs I've been given and managed to get from the emporium and guild store, I'm 4 pulls from hitting pity for my first Reinier from stargazing and I've been playing since launch. My Reinier is currently L+ because I got lucky by getting him from the first celepogean card from the All Heroes Available event, and the rest are from the guild store. I just need to grab one more with guild points plus the pity pull, and I'll finally get him to M+. After that, I'll likely be working on Scarlita since she seems to be seeing more use as I'm pushing afk stages, and I'm still using a Mauler team to progress while most of the replays I see are using the wilder Scarlita team. I can't see myself being able to use this guy even if I make it to a full year of playtime.

Are you sure u are counting correctly? You need 4 copies to go from L+ to M+.

celestials and hypogeans are cash grabs and its so painsfully obvious. the system that revolves around these characters (collecting and building), it is incredibly not F2P friendly. the game barely provides stellar crystals for free, forcing players to save up or give into the temptation of spending money. worst part is, these hypogeans and celestials could very much be not meta in the months to come just like the other heroes in the game, making your months of grinding and building one character practically worthless.

He is a king in both pve and pvp. P1 +20 Stall comp with Smokey is braindead.

Nah. He’s key for PvE and potentially PvP. If you have the funds, invest in him.

Pve is doable with multiple teams and pushing afk hard doesn't give anything meaningful vs other teams In Pvp he gets ruined by certain maps

@@cosmiclight6633can attest to him actually being oppressive in pvp as his clone can be in the back line to tank a vala /Sylvia in pvp saving u a team slot for something else u might need and in pve he really do be an unstoppable force with thoran(I went up nearly 50 stages with the 2 of them) running a chain with thoran then phraesto behind him getting dmg mitigation then odie and Smokey getting benefit from chaining them behind phraesto and his clone
