I think if valve was ever to release ricochet 2 it would be a VR game. Valve has said they have been working on VR games for quite some time. It would be the perfect VR game considering how the mechanics work and how much fun it would be playing it in VR. They were first to revolutionize modern gaming, this would be the perfect valve game for a relatively new platform.

You should really do more of this. There's a ton of really good Half-Life multiplayer mods that would be fun to play together on a weekend where you can livestream it too if you want. FireArms, Deathmatch Classic, TFC, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, The Specialists, Vampire Slayer, Wanted and the list can go on. Really fun stuff, easy to setup, easy to pick up and play, perfect to a community interaction from time to time.

I havent watchewd the video just read the title, but: THANKS WAROWL! :D I've been playing Ricochet at a "competitive" level, meaning we always looked for other players/teams to compete against. It was purely amazing. Simple game, simple maps amazing. Also, if anybody is interested in "Ricochet mastery level 9000", take a look at "Tribes Asend". The shots that are possible in that game is purely amazing (I have an old montage in my profile but I mostly recommend the 'I am King' videos by the palyer binswees here on YT).

It's a really stupid simple game, but it's a surprising amount of fun. I prefer fortress forever however. Sad to say nobody plays it anymore, it's quite dead at the moment, but it's a lot of fun. It's got a ton of cool custom game modes and it was really fun when folks still played it.

There was a really cool mod for Half-Life called Vampire Slayer that I played a ton of way back. Slayers vs vampires, 4(?) classes on each team, slayers get guns and crossbows and stuff, vampires get special powers. I last played it like 5 years ago and I seem to recall that there were a handful of mostly empty Russian servers with really high ping. Worth checking out - it even has bots.
