Hopefully everyone has their eyes on the ball. The goal is to continue making your exit strategy which sometimes require you to participate in things such as politics. You need money to implement anything. The percentage of your income that is allotted for taxes means something. The Sheriff or Chief Of Police where you live matters. If the government passes an infringement to let's say your second amendment rights...you will want a sheriff or chief that decides not to enforce the infringement. The financial dept of your local government will determine where those funds go. The head of the education board will determine the curriculum taught to your kids. So unless you are making your own clothes...growing your own food...living off your own independently funded grid driving and automobile you made yourself...in a home you built yourself on sovereign land you out right that doesn't require you to pay taxes to government with currency you created yourself that actually has a monetary value...unless that is circumstance...all of it matters and all of it is relevant. don't put your faith in any political party even if it sounds like they align with you. Allow the system to use you while you use it and keep working on your exit strategy. That's should in theory be the mindset...but who knows... Just a humble opinion

part 2. you're right, it was all bs propaganda, but trump DID make the effort to go to macdonalds and stand beside the workers in the restaurant, to take direction from them, to see where and how they work. i would argue that throughout his career, trump has had more experience with the laborers who build and maintain his properties than all the rest of the lawyers in congress combined. also, vp jd vance was poor white trash raised by his gramma in rural kentucky, became a marine, an entrepreneur, a businessman, an author, a movie producer and then an elected representative. that's a worthy struggle, imo. "when was the last time a non-black man did anything for 'us'" … well, individual results vary, but collectively, about 1 in 20 white men in the country died fighting a war that made sure you wouldn't be born a slave just because your fathers had been slaves. i think that counts for something. true conservatism is for limiting govt's role in our lives, the Dem and GOP have become a 'uni-party' overrun by self-serving, narcissists, their sycophants, and the big money conies that support them. i don't know if you've watched any of the town halls or interviews w trump and vance or ramaswamy but they're all been grilled. harris and walz, not so much. i'm not sure how you concluded that both candidates were 'selected' for us. harris, absolutely. i will bow to anyone who can say they voted for harris in a Dem party primary. biden too was selected by the leadership and so they paid off the rest of them to drop out. clinton before that when they paid off bernie and obama before that when they rigged up the primaries against clinton after she won florida. that's standard procedure. but trump won because of the people voting. the republican party hated trump, they actively worked against him, criticized him, insulted him ¬ and he insulted them right back. his 'feature' was that he already had billions of $$$ and couldn't be bought off. trump has been all for school voucher programs since his first term but the teachers unions and the dems interfered and biden reversed it. chicago and la have two of the highest spending per student. baltimore had some 20/24 schools with no students performing at grade level. imo, your biggest problem is that you're not really a communist so the things being done don't make sense to you, but after rounding out some critical knowledge, you'll see how they do it under the guise of "for your own good," and you can defeat the struggle within your mind. i live in a state that is in the bag for dems so we don't get so much political ads. i don't know what area you're in, so i don't know the ads, but that sounds pretty eff'd up. were you named for langston hughes? i'm happy to further discuss your disillusionment with the state of the country. i listened to whole thing and i think i can help.

"water catching fire" is not an unusual phenomenon in areas with underground oil reserves. oil is naturally at many layers including the surface at ground level and gets mixed with the ground water. that 'documentary' went so far as to artificially increase the gas in the water to make that demonstration more dramatic. natural gas is much cleaner and economical than oil or coal. the food supply has many issues, mostly brought about by govt controllers, the fda, the epa, the blm [the bureau of land management, not the activists], things like the food pyramid full of bread, the subsidies to industrial farmers and petro-chemical producers and pharma that make corn syrup and food additives more profitable to grow than actual food, the administrative bureaucracy that drives family farms out of business trying to comply with piles of regulation that make the food supply no safer or nutritious. policy affects reality, and yes, the state of the economy is largely perception, but it's those perceptions that drive things like business plans and consumer spending. did salaries go up? … since trump became president? … do you mean "in the last 3 day?" when he doesn't become president until jan 20? he's not a wizard. will he be successful in every promise? … unlikely. but he has already laid out many detailed parts of his agenda, on video, even if he forgets, voters won't. i am as skeptical as anyone, and yes, we should depend less on govt, if at all, and yes, those in power will find ways to game the system for their advantage, but the rot has spread so long and so deep that the things we depend on govt for are being ignored. he has made it his mission to rid govt of the disease, drain the swamp to kill the malaria. that people go from govt jobs overseeing industry to protect the people and then go to work in that very industry for huge salaries is a perverse incentive. that the pelosis' record for lucrative investments far outpaces any professional wall street investment house stinks like a pig in shit. the safety of the citizens is of primary importance, not the prosperity of our bureaucrats. as for your argument about "trump doesn't know the struggle", while correct, it is irrelevant. more to the point is that he's not a lawyer, he's a manager, a builder, a real estate developer and businessman. that you can only be represented by someone like you, is a fallacy, it always has been. if the job requires someone like you, then you should do it … could you? the president is a ceo type executive the requires organization and management. the country is set up such that general success for nation means that individuals will find success and opportunity ¬ "a rising tide lifts all boats" end part 1/n.
