If you judge someone by age, you might as well judge by nationality, neither really tell you anything about the individual but instead tell you about your own preconceived biases. I always hate when people assume that relationships can’t work because of age (or some other bias), instead see people for the individuals they truly are and don’t close the door to the potential love of your life!

I don't think age gaps matter if the two people in the relationship are supportive, respectful and love each other genuinely. I'm not saying all age gap relationships are going to work by any means because there are definitely controlling, abusive people out there that just have no respect for themselves or anyone else. We all know where that leads to. The problems leading to a lot of age gap relationships ending is mainly other people. They try to break people up because they don't think it is appropriate, or traditional or cultural or they just want to control other peoples lives. That's the main problem with relationships ending. Other people sticking their noses in where they don't belong. They tend to stereotype and paint age or sex with the same general brush. This inserts unnecessary tension between what very well might be two loving souls destined for each other to cave into what other people think they should do. There are lots of age gap relationships out there that are very successful. There's tons of videos on here.

Edgar Hernandez Sorry to hear that sad story. If you kill yourself you will be the looser she will always find somebody even if that relationship does not work. Maybe you should move on. It's not easy but you can do it. Eventually, if she is truely yours, she will come back to you. At the moment, you can just take time to heal. Perhaps your ex was tempted and with time, she will know the reality of who truely loves her. Also look at this from another perspective, everyone deserves to be with someone they are truely happy with. If you truely love this girl, then let her go and if she is yours, she will realise this and come back some day.
