Do Resonators Make a Difference On A Banjo?

No idea why, but prefer the first one. The second one sounds a little more twangy, thinner, not as rich. Am I imaging things?

Excellent picking! I'd say the 2nd resonator, the 75 Style, is a bit louder, but I can't say one resonator sounds "better" than the other. Can you say a bit about the banjo head "tuned to A." I'm not familiar with tuning a banjo head to a specific pitch. Thanks.

Im just learning and i find the resonator to be heavy and cumbersome. I think i will remove it until i get better. Are you left handed?

i think that the second one sounds better because i think that the banjo has more pop with the second one than with the first one
