In this video you will get to know some very important Do's and Don'ts that must be followed if you are coming to Oman or already a resident of Oman. Most important is to respect the King of Oman by all means, you must respect the culture and values of others and the country you are living in, Acceptance is very important.
Dress code - You can wear anything there is no restriction for men and women as such only wear some decent clothes while going out in a public.
Greet the Locals back - Omanis are very friendly so if they greet you by saying As-salamu Alaykum greet them back by saying Wa-Alaikum-Salaam , this is how you respect the greetings.
Don't consume alcohol in Public - You can get license for purchasing alcohol but cannot consume it in public its prohibited.
Respect the Mosques - Always respect the mosques and only enter after removing your footwear also research before going into a mosque whether it is allowed for a non muslim to enter that mosque or not.
Do not disturb people while praying and do not eat outside during holy month of Ramadan, be careful.
Avoid showing any physical affection to your partner in public its again the culture.
