I am a physics graduate... What should i answer when they ask how your stream can help you in banking sector?

You can tell a variety of things. Basic principles of physics such as optics, current, dynamics and statics drive a lot of Equipments that bank use. You may specifically prepare for a particular principle such as optics in biometrics. The skills that you might have learned during graduation example: team leader, organiser of any event, representing college at various levels may also be mentioned. Do mention your project during college, The interview may drive towards your domain afterwards.

Hi dear basically 2 3 aspect you can cover. if asked how did it help you, then 1.you need to bring your syllabus relatablity with clearing of your Pre & Mains...2.whatever you are today is bcs of ur graduation if asked this way that how your stream may help again 2 3 things...may be my stream will not help it directly. ..but indirectly the value, knowledge and experience it has inculcated in me will help me in everyday life...then form 2 3 points of relatablity...like.. The more we are getting digital, we are becoming more and more gadgets/instruments oriented, and being a physics student you would better understand the functionality of devices and I may utillise them in an optimum way for the benefit of bank... Plus physics inculcate in us reasoning, logics & consequences so I would be understanding & executing bank assets & resources with a rationale and for optimum outcome of the back. Mostly cases where banks gives loan to the customer, there are projects involved which are basically full of technical / instrumental device setup so i think i can utillise my knowledge there to get scientific/technical understanding/evaluation of a project along with financial aspects.

Sir, i graduated in 2016. I was preparing for UPSC after that then switched to banking. I have this huge gap after graduation. How can I justify this properly as it seems that banking is my second priority?

Its a good logic... be honest... I tried my best to get to upsc... Now as I have not been successful till now into that... I am looking at other options where I can use my knowledge and skill for my professional career...

@@rankerschoice1485 Sir, i have given a mock interview. In that, i stated the same thing as you have mentioned then the interviewer was saying that ki upsc nahi hua to bank me try krne lage ki chalo isme to ho hi jayega. The way of saying that was very rude and i lost all my confidence after that.
