SOME REAL ADVICE: - Always change if the opponent have a scoring chance to get better plus/minus - Always stay on the ice until you score or get an assist - Never change on PP

I have two questions about the line changes: A: what do you mean when you say know who you are changing for? 0:26 B: what do you mean when you say "do make sure you have the right player when you change" 2:06 (new to hockey just wondering)

It's a bit late so I guess you either figured it out or learned the hard way; what's ment here is that you (usually) change for the same position, meaning that left D changes with left D, and center with center etc. and the lines goes 1, 2, 3, 1 (if 3 lines are available). If you're short on players, i.e. 6-9 players on each team, then typically you'd distribute for 3 backs and 5-6 forwards (not that backs typically have a better cardio, but they're often more complete skaters).
