When I started nearly 2 weeks ago, I made a rush for wublin island's zynth farm. The currencies you get from that island is a big boost to my early game, it starts slow, but it essentially eliminated my need to use coins for food, and instead use coins for castle upgrades and unlocking islands to foster more mini mines. I also keep all my monsters at 10 at this point, I have no need to teleport them to other islands yet, but when that time comes my zynth farm would be in full swing as well as my bakeries.

@@Aleksimaier In biology there's a thing called, "positive feedback loop" to explain it simply. Once you finished your first zynth, the output is not good YET, but as long as you keep expanding that zynth farm you will get more resources, and more resources = more islands, more islands the faster zynths can be created. At my point in the game, if I timed it correctly, I can finish 4 zynths per day, and each zynth I create makes me more resources, which allows me to upgrade my breeding and hatching structures, which expedites not just my zynth per day rate, but also how fast i can breed monsters in general. Not even a month in the game, I got my first ethereal because the breeding was relatively quick, granted I did have all my torches lit up, but I got it nonetheless. The point of this is to accelerate how fast you gather resources and allocate it into really good upgrades (i.e castle, breeding/hatching structures and islands) you can easily just dismantle your zynth farm in the future and start working on the full wublin island song if that's what you want, or upgradew to a more efficient wublin farm (tympa-dwumrohl farm)

I'd say it is a good idea to level up monsters past level 15, for a chance of getting a bonus item. With many monsters leveled up like that the chances would be increased.

I have a similar mistake. I had 70 gems. And I was like "HOW THE FUCK DOES BREEDING WORK?!" So I blew them on a furcorn, and a Maw. I regret it. Recently, I had 240 diamonds, but also blew them on getting special monsters on plant island. Atleast they were worth it. (Bty it was ghazt, g-joob, and shugabush. I spent the most time on g-joob even tho there was a 200% chance increase to get a mythical.)

@@bamb2150 for people that have no friends like me it's especially helpful for keys outside of the 4 you can get each week. Though the celestial ascension now helps with that a bit. It also makes checking my Mythical Island and Seasonal Shanty worth checking when I'm not breeding anything on it. Since I have a good chance of getting something useful, rather than the small amount of gold the monsters produce there.

I don't really agree with the diamond advice. My advice is to place a mine on every eligible island and you'll be getting about 20 diamonds every day. Don't shy away from speeding things up if you want, as long as you have a good diamond income, but never buy a monster from the store.

Use you food to level up monsters to 16 for a greater chance for bonus items. At 15 super low chance but at 16 you get 5-10 procs of bonus items a day with a full quad farm on mirror islands

I only spend diamonds on things I know will be tedious. I’m waking up Dwumrohl right now and so far, it’s only costed me 3 diamonds. Of course, I just spent 50 on breeding structure upgrades but discounted price is very worth it in the long run. I started playing this game in 2013 (or whenever there were only 8 islands) and I made my first in-app purchase in 2020 because I needed coins to upgrade bone island’s castle. From my experience, the only in app purchase that is worth it is Gems. Also, don’t spend your gems on filling a Wublin statue when you haven’t filled it with anything. If it takes like 10 of any sort of single element monster, it’s best to wait that amount of time before filling the Wublin, since every egg is equivalent to 30 gems. Also, unless it’s Blabbit season, don’t spend your gems on nursery scratch tickets. I’ve only gotten 1 good monster out of a regular ticket, and it was a triple element. Relics are still a relatively new currency for me, and I’m not much of an expert on them, but I heard that you get relics from monsters on Amber Island.

8 months later couldn't beleive I missed this there is a big difference after level 15 when you feed level 15 to level 16 the difference is level 16 gives you bonus rewards which can give you some pretty useful and valueable currencies example: 3 relics, 1 diamond, and especially nowadays 1 key which can add up and really helps I heard level 15 has a very very rare chance of getting bonus items but if it does it's extremely rare but I personally have never seen it

Another thing you can spend shards on is the unity tree If you have a lot of shards and have leveled up you tribal monster enough and have over 7500 you should spend it on the unity tree Buy then sell then but and sell That's a million experience and can make you level up fast (that's how I got to level 21 in 2 days while only having 18 levels)

If I do that, combined with Wublins, spinning the wheel, and all of the daily rewards, it eliminates the need for me to spend more money on the game ever again.
