I had some laser treatments years ago and I was getting excellent results with light skin and dark hair but I had histamine reaction so I had stop before completing the treatment. But I want to start again and slim thinking if there are ways to prevent the allergic reaction? Many thanks in advance.

Should I shave 24h before the treatment (thought I’m aware that they’ll shave again at the clinic but with that extreme growth and the speed of the therapist I usually get cuts on my skin) It would be a better option to shave or no ?

If you are wondering whether you should shave before or after laser treatment, the answer is that you can do either. Our practitioners can shave the treatment area for you just before the laser session, or you can shave at home before coming to the clinic to reduce skin irritation. However, we generally advise that you shave before arriving at the clinic if you are able to do so.

Please give your skin at least 48 hrs to rest after the treatment. There is no need to use any other hair removal methods in the first couple of days afterwards. We highly recommend to use aloe vera in the first 24 hrs after having Laser Hair Removal done.

In general, feel free to use Veet cream or razors between sessions, but avoid using creams 3 days prior to the treatment to prevent allergic reactions.☺
