Best time to upgrade when you have extra money and not utang or kaskas sa credit card. If you want to upgrade create a plan to save 1000 every payday until you have all the cash. You don't have to buy the latest and greatest. Even last years model is perfectly fine. Battery you can change every 3 yrs. You can carry a power bank.

Reminds me of my mom everytime I upgrade. “Palit ka na naman ung akin nga ilang taon na” i usually upgrade every 1 and half year. (Ios user) And the good thing rin kasi is I sell my current so I can upgrade. Iphone’s really do last for a long time if it’s not abused. So if you are into gaming, for me that should be a different story. Also, been keeping an iphone 5 as a remembrance and surprisingly it still works (Ginagawa ko pa nga alarm clock minsan 😅) My current phone (Iphone 11) is perfect but it’s a year and a half year old now so I want to consistently stick into my routine. Sell and Upgrade. Contemplating about getting the 12pro max or Wait for the 13 this october.

They dont expire, nagdedepreciate lang yung performance nila, nagiging oudated sila, napagiiwanan sa Tecnology at Specs. Usually nagpapalit ang tao every 3 years (Depende kung Healthy Usage), the reason also why most of the Smartphone company 2-3 Major Updates (Android Upgrade) lang ang ibinibigay sa mga phone kasi alam nila na magdedepreciate na din yung performance. Im still using my Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 from November 2018, and the best pa din yung battery life (Original) niya, the downside is medyo nagnagframe drop dahil na din sa mga update nung mga Apps.

If you are on a budget, apply for a postpaid premium phones, it may or can control your urges (constantly wanting to buy new release phones) for about 2 years before you can get a new one. Premium phones performance could last atleast 4 years with constant updates. Buying midrange phones will just get you half satisfied. But then again, if you have no issues on spending money, there is no such thing as upgrade, just buy anything you want. 😅

If you want a long lasting phone na budget, choose the most known brands and why? Kasi once na may masira jan malaki chance na marami kang makukuhang spare parts. Pangalawa, alagaan mabuti ang phone, i manage at huwag ito pabayaan. Just like my samsung j7 pro walang binago sa battery for 4 years. Sa span na yun dapat malambot na siya pero ok pa pero the disadvantage siguro eh ma lag na siya at madalas na siya naghahang pero kaya pa sa everyday use at malinaw kasi screen tas amoled na rin. I'am currently using my samsung galaxy note 4, may balak mag upgrade din dahil madali nang malowbat ang kanyang battery. At nag lalag tuwing nanonood ako sa youtube. Kaso parang ayaw ko siyang bitawan kasi may sentemental value po ito sa akin, nakakatawag at nakaka recieve po siya ng messages at as long as gumagana pa naman parang wala akong balak palitan. Sa panahon ngayon at dahil sa pandemic, kailangan mag ipon para sa pag kain muna. Saka na lng mag upgrade kung hindi na pwedeng gamitin.

Kabibili ko lang this week ng iphone 11. Alam ko medyo matagal at unti-unying inaalis ng apple si iphone11 pero masaya ako na makabili nito. Nagwoworry ako kasi hindi siya 5g ready pero wala naman 5G dito sa amin. Smartphone generally have an average lifespan of 2 to 3 years and beyond that is where you start to see the effects of wear and tear with the hardware of the smartphone. the first one to fail is the battery as it can only carry 80% of the capacity than that of it being brand new. The lifespan of a smartphone depends on the usage whether your a light user or a heavy user. Light users tend to last longer around 5 years and more while Heavy users tend to last 1 to 2 years before the hardware slowly wears off and slow down.

Upgrade if you have the capacity to upgrade. I upgraded from Iphone6 to Iphone 11 recently because there’s a need na rin talaga. I still chose IPhone dahil ito na rin ang nakasanayan ko. Kahit hindi latest ang model, ayos lang. As long as you don’t ended up broke. Mag-save! I bought my new phone because I have extra money to upgrade, and it’s needed na rin. Pag-isipang maigi bago maglabas ng pera.

In my opinion, Phone Longevity depends on how good is your specs. Common sa atin ang magpalit for 2-3 years, so Bumili ka ng phone na tatagal sa specs for 2-3 years. Kung nagkakaroon ng sentimental value sayo ang phone, kailangan High end specs ang phone na bibilhin mo para kahit umabot pa ng up to 6-7 years ang phone mo, usable parin (Especially for iOS devices.)

Hi po. When you mentioned the bit about letting your battery die before charging, hindi lang po clear to me kung dapat ba o hindi. Kasi i have heard conflicting statements sa mga tao about this. Some people say na dapat, some people say naman na hindi dapat kasi mas nag ccount against the cycle count. Naguguluhan po ung iba sa amin. Sana po masagot mo. Thank you!!!
