And about the existencial crisis, i think the best example is the "is a hot dog a sandwich?" Issue in one of the ""recent"" moonbae's vlive lol you can search it up on yt too! Dude what Kevin said about his parents staying on the call until he says "I love you" back, my parents do that too, sometimes it gets annoying tbh, but like Jacob said, you never know what could happen, so I always say it back. But one time I wanted to joke around with my dad and didn't say it and just went on with my day.... I picked the phone back up like 5 mins later, and said, "oh, your still waiting", and he laughed and told me I was a good daughter. Truly listen to what Jacob said, don't take it for granted

I really envy Jacob and Kevin a lot. For me we don't say " I love you" to each other but I do know deep inside my parents love me but I kind of wish they could express it out to me. Since I was grown up this way I have never express my love out to my parents too. If I were to say I love you to them I would have been so embarrassed like a lot.. so I really envy Jacob and Kevin :( I want to grow up in a loving family being able to express your feelings

Same..l mean I already lost my dad without even hugging him for awhile. We didn't expect it to happen so soon . I just remember that day as it was exams period and I was coming back home we found the ambulance there when I went up they were already taking him to the hospital and after that maybe like 30min or so my uncle called and told us the news . I was devastated somehow but even then i'm still awkward when it comes to showing feelings and stuff. So it better to grow up expressing and showing love to your family members so it would always feel natural and even the children would grow closer and not distant. Sorry for my long rent.😅

in asian families especially it's hard for parents and children to say 'i love you' to each other. i rarely said it to my mom/dad and they rarely said it to me/my sisters, bc it was said in other ways besides the three words explicitly? and then our dad died and now i say it to my mom whenever i call her and im about to end the call, especially now that im in s. korea and she's back in florida. today's actually the 5 year anniversary of my dad passing away, so shout out to u daddy, i miss u.
