1. Frank can be cold-blooded but I do think he's at his most regretful whenever the Legion become the Chimeric Horde cosmetic. That skin shows how Frank has to shoulder every pain the others experience because he lead them down a twisted path. Being merciless is the only way he can protect their souls now. 2. The Campfire must feel like a punishment to Amanda. Yes, she's become this powerful killer, but none of that has brought John back to her. The survivors are weaker, yet they have each other to share their hardships and regrets with. Perhaps she watches them in the shadows frequently, with a cloaked Philip by her side. Both silently yearning for the human contact of normalcy. Thank you for the video. ❤

I can’t agree on Frank. We know that Joey attempted to resist this transformation based on the knife yet Frank still does it. Frank has always been someone who cares little for what others want and wants followers. He yells at them when they disobey and the comic (if canon) he treats Joey like dirt. Now the others have no autonomy at all.

I use Chucky a lot. One of his voice lines he straight up says “I love it here!” I feel he might be like Sable where he’s aware of what happens and gets to know he’s just allowed to kill as much as he wants and have his idea of fun.

For Legion, Susie, Julie and Frank would be cool with it and enjoy it. Susie initially was against killing but clearly has a darker nature and now there isn’t consequences for it, she can unleash herself and be true to what she wants. Joey, probably more so then almost anyone else. All he wanted was acceptance. He gets fired for tribal reasons from numerous jobs and his ‘nerdy’ alignment likely meant he was socially on the outer. That’s why he’s so easy for Frank to manipulate. So while at first he would kill because the entity would threaten him with causing harm to his friends, eventually he would see his ‘friends’ slip further and further into the darkness and become less like the people he wanted to be with. Way too late now though. Shame the DBD story game doesn’t focus on this.

Yeah... Joey's always had that "my boy" kind of quality for me, similar to Leatherface. If I were a killer in The Entity's Realm, my overall demeanor about the perpetual trials and resultant carnage would be very similar to both of them: Sad, frightened, and just doing it not because I wanted to... But because it'd be the only thing that makes sense anymore.

@@Larzang Personally I think Joey would go a step further and refuse. Of the killers he'd be the first in the void easily. Void be damned, pain to self be damned, pain to the other Legion members be damned and also an empty threat because the entity needs them effective. Life's a bitch and so is this. Either the entity would throw him to the void or repurpose him as a survivor.

iirc The Entity didn't pull Pinhead in, he simply showed up and enjoyed his time in the trials and decided to stay. He isn't bound by The Entity's rules which his mori shows.

Fully agree. He was once meta, one of the best killers in the game, but now he is one of the weakest. He deffinitelly needs at least a gigantic buff (like instead of his cureent faster vault, make him vault 50% faster than the rest)

Darren Bousman and Kevin Greutert, directors of Saws 2-4 and 6-7 respectively both have said that they saw Amanda as a very regretful character. They saw her being like a gambling addict that keeps hoping the next bet makes all of their choices justified. Thats why in 3 every time we see Amanda by herself, she looks so uncertain and depressed. Yes, she is losing her mentor and idol in Jigsaw, but she is also questioning all of her actions and if they are right. I figure that continued into the entity's realm. In the trials she is a monster but between them she is likely filled with self-doubt and the entity has appease her with praise from John in the form of visions.

I feel like the Trickster probably has some (not moral) regrets, despite enjoying how open he can be about his violence now. After all, he has no admirers anymore, and he has to share the stage with an army of villains, many being stronger and more feared than he is. He’s gone from a solo act to a moderately recognizable background character, and he’d absolutely hate that.

Candy man if he was in the game: he doesn't necessarily regret what he's become, he loves having all this power, but he wishes everything had turned out better, that he had lived and had a life with Caroline and their daughter(Isabel), that they could've had a happy ending, but he doesn't like to think about it, he has people to kill and grieving about what could've been is a waste of valuable time

I think the one who regrets becoming part of the Legion the most is Joey. Susie had almost no self-esteem and felt like don't fitting anywhere. so in the group she found in her mind a place to be someone. But I'm sure everyone regrets it after becoming a Chimera. 🤔 maybe frank the least cause he has mostly still the control and isn't stuck in another persons stomach.

I don't think Myers is emotionless. If you've seen the first Halloween, and looked at his perks, he enjoys "playing with his food." In the scene where he nailed the boy to the wall, he even tilts his head as if to admire his handiwork. I think he derives genuine pleasure in killing. I just don't see someone that dons a ghost sheet and his last victim's glasses to trick the guy's girlfriend as "emotionless", and therefore unopinionated. We would probably see more expressions of mirth if he didn't have the expressionless mask on all the time.

True. Also we get a few scenes in the OG timeline in which he shows emotions, the most known is H5's final act. Someone who doesn't regret becoming a monster wouldn't cry, when someone sees that there is more behind the mask than darkness. Also since this is OG timeline's Michael (which we can clearly see from how his model looks) we can clearly put Michael into the regrets everything cathegory. After all who wants to be the vessel for an ancient demon that loves pain, suffering and human sacrifices? But poor Michael had no choice, his fate was sealed the moment his parents decided that Mrs. Blankenship would babysit him that fateful Halloween night 1963.

The others can't be applied because even though all sequels are considered canon, they aren't necessarily canon to each other. The new reboot series, for example, completely negates Halloween 2 and the revelation that Laurie and Michael are siblings. It's hard to say DBD's Michael has any of the regret in H5 because it's impossible to tell which timeline applies.

@@madisonseyfried9298 Since Michael and Laurie in DBD both have their comic appearances, it's very likely that they are actually from the OG-H20 timeline (comic connects both timelines). Michael looks nothing like his 1978 self. He's built much more bulky, with much bigger hands and the mask has much crazier hair. His coveralls are also dark grey instead of dark green (like they were in 1978). He looks much more like COT Michael (comic Michael is COT Michael after all), which makes total sense since BHVR took his and Laurie's looks from the comic books. That means they only have the rights to the Halloween comic series and would explain, why we haven't gotten Loomis or Jamie as Legendarys to this day, since both don't appear in any of the comic books (Loomis only appearance is in the comic that shows Michael's time in Smith's grove). And you can't take their lore description as a confirmation on when the characters got taken. Almost all licenced characters have part of their lore as description, yet they are confirmed to be taken at other points in time, which are confirmed by their default cosmetics. Only licenced characters who we know exactly what happened after their movie are Freddy and Quentin.

@@valeriebreidenstein8362 The reason Laurie appears like she does in the comics is because BHVR couldn't get the license for Jamie Lee Curtis, similar to why Ellen Ripley doesn't look like Sigourney Weaver. That doesn't necessarily mean the comics are canon to the game, either. The flavor text of Michael's perks also came from just the first movie, so I think the implication that Myers and Laurie were taken on the Halloween of 1978 before any of the sequels is quite strong.

It's much more likely that Laurie was taken when the car crash happened in 1987 and Michael just disappeared after Halloween night 1995. Why would the entity take unnecessary risks, if there were better opportunities in the future?

The Lich has little to no regrets. Initially Vecna tried to stop the fog he summoned himself, but curious of the dark nature of the Realm, he wants to try to take control of it. It's possible he doesn't like not being among an empire he could control, but I think he's looking forward to adding it to such empire.

With people like chucky, i feel like he would feel jailed. He wanted immortality and recognition, but he already had immortality in the real world and now no recognition to come further as hes missing now. Myers wants to keel specific people 60% of the time, and him and laurie both being in here, limits his ability to run into her. I assume he too would want to escape, only to be able to only persue laurie, which he cant do in the realm full time.

I think trickster has some regrets. Yeah he does kill people freely but hes someone who feeds of attention and in the trials he doesnt really have an audience. You cant really call survivors an audience cuz theyre justa group of 4 ppl who dont want anything to do with him. Plus he cant really make music which was kinda a kickstarter to his killing and torturing people.

I think Wesker pretty much regrets entering the entity realm and is not happy with his position there. in his own words, he was "trying to save the world" through evil means. I think he hates the fact that he has to spend all of his time with survivors who are "genetically inferior", except Chris of course.
