One thing on the chests I do is push hard to open the big chests (the guarded ones) as they contain gear, which in turn helps beef up my heroes. I've even went so far as (if possible) opening up the next section of the map just to do a quick run through it (skipping literally everything else) to open the big chests.

Now if you really want to be sweaty you can go in and tap your hero’s. And get extra affinity for “petting them” I got 6 per hero.

FYI in regards to your map tip. if there isn't a green checkmark on 'door' icons(Entrances that lead into underground areas), it means you still have enemies or chests in there as well.

Forging for only 5 levels feels bad, but can make the difference I only do it if I'm at like top 12% of Dream Realm and think it might push me into top 10% to start scoring the permanent Soulgem bonuses - which it has a few times

i misread as you trying to push for top 10. Yeah i pretty much only upgrade my gear every 10 levels until i can see that im swiming in crafting mats also only for the classes im using.

I'm so tilted they removed records like I know what people are using but the positions and artifact are usually what makes the difference now because of the hotfix YOU CANNOT see the fights....

It appears to be at least partially fixed. Some of the records still work so you just have to click through until you find one. Also, there was a glitch where you had to back all the way out to restart a replay. That appears to be fixed, at least on iOS.

I can’t replay the like low power records it only allows me to view the recommended but their battle power is usually much higher than mine as use mythic heroes. The alignment is too important along with the artifacts they use.

Thanks for the great tips! :) I would actually advise on forging equipment for hero classes you don't use as well. Saving your resources is fine for the early to mid game, but doesn't make any sense later on. First of all, there are both direct rewards and indirect rewards locked behind the average equipment level. And later on, hero essence is the limiting factor anyway. Secondly, making the other classes stronger helps you with pushing in other game modes like the Tower or swapping characters and trying different combinations in Dream Realm, for example. Some Warriors (like Brutus) and some Rogues are really good in these game modes as well.

I find that Arcane Labyrinth is a good way of getting Hero Essence also. I just cleared Lvl. 3 and it gave me 600 Hero Essence along with 3 Epic Invite letters

One note you missed: you can use 2 AFK synergy battles a day; one for AFK stages and 1 for map battles.

If you go to your AFK Battles there can be a little green arrow in the upper left side of the window below the progress bar. "You're a bit behind in your current AFK progress, so we've initiated a catch-up mechanism for you. Your AFK rewards will receive a boost to help you catch up!"

Honor duel - when the event started I had 3 attempts (an attempt being win 9 or lose 3), the next day I had 2 attempts, and yesterday I had just 1. I don't understand why I didn't have 3 attempts each day. Can anyone please tell me why I didn't have 3 attempts per day?

The weapons from the Dream Realm can be equipped independet of your level, at least this is the case for me (In both of my accounts )

Also, the shop from Holistone needs to have hero essence too, or the hero essence around the world needs to increment with your level, because you get 2 or 4 (literally) in zones that are way harder for your level

I think by the time May comes, if you're super sweaty you might of managed to finish most of it or just barely. I'm a minnow btw like spent 20-30 usd so i can't really say it's that much but yeah i'm like 12 days in and i'm almost halfway for afk stages currently at 521, so going by that progress i might be able to finish the AFK stages by early or mid may at worst end of May. The only thing really limiting me is the hero essence to power up my heroes.

@@wihukeon Yea, maybe that is true if I go super sweaty for it. My main concern is that this new season is not gonna be accessible for new players and chill guys. In other "seasonal" games that I play you can just jump in the game any time during the season, and try new seasonal content. Even if this new season is gonna be a banger you just cant tell others to come and try it if they didnt already played this game.

@@KTB_Phantom Well if you're just talking about new players they probably won't need to worry about the new season cause wasn't there a note in that the server has needed to be opened for 42 days to be able to access song of strife? So if a new player starts a new account i'd likely be in a new server which means they probably won't have an issue. The other chill person well if they're chill they're probably not in a rush and still have a ton to do.

i think the power ratings there arend displayed properly.. like they dont include gear or artifact power coz sometimes all heroes are 10 levels higher than mine but they are only 60-70% of my power

About ready to quit. So tired of the P2W hurting F2P players. There isn't much real PvP, but the Clan rewards, ranked Dream rewards, whales making rewards for helping others unrealistic, etc. I really wish all of these different challenges were somehow grouped by levels otherwise it's pure P2W even in the non face-to-face content.
