Love this video coach. I’m also a big fan of trades especially with a hand down tight end if you carry one, there was a Louisiana school in the lowest division’s non-select championship game that gave their opponent fits with tight end trades

I remember an analyst once upon a time who said that too many coaches don't run a system, they run plays. This list is an effective way to make sure you have plays that protect each other and are going to have answers for most of what the D throws at you.

Being an offence guy myself, I think sometimes defense can or should also have initiatives on certain area, like how to pressure in a way to dictate the matchup, how to play certain coverage to maintain their own identity. Defence needs to play their own game too instead of playing into offence's hands
