One of my new Favourite vampires, especially for edgar, is Baron Bertram Graywater. Makes a token vampire when you have another token enter the battlefield. can also sac another creature or artifact to draw a card.

I have a bit of the same problem with my Edgar deck. I tried to power it down a bit, make it more fun to play and less of a terror. I've been giving it a bit of a "last hurrah" so I can swap in Licia, the life gain lady and build towards that. I love vampires, but everybody will be playing Edgar for a bit with this reprint, so I'm going to swap it out. There's so many cool vampires and vampire tech, you only barely scratched the surface. You can give all of your vampires madness and use Anje to churn through your deck while casting the vampires you discard. You've got multiple ways to steal your opponents biggest threats, to reanimate your own creatures thematically, to play with your life and gain it all back... It's not the best when you're going to against a bunch of combo decks looking for two cards to end your day, but it is still pretty fun to play
