Mr. Frank You're videos are so positive. They remind me of Eddie Merrins aka "Wee Ice Man" CD - "SWING the HANDLE" very similar to your approach "Stack & Tilt". After 40 years teeing it up I'm looking for a golf swing that is easier on the back. I've had 3 different back surgeries. Member at Donald Ross course in Boston and Willie Park Jr course in Baltimore. Looking forward to adapting your version of Stack & Tilt. Just bought the book. Thanks for your videos they are a lot easier to understand than pages 70-92 in the book. Trying to explain what must be a feel is hard to write and harder to read. Follow Jess Frank folks.

Good video. I seem to have started moving my spine and shoulders slightly towards the target in the backswing, is this common?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Жыл бұрын
It’s a centered pivot but might feel like you are moving towards the target

Jess excellent content which is really improving my iron play! Only hiccup once in awhile using shoulder down is shanking? Never dealt with before, can you advise ?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Жыл бұрын
You’re hitting it in the heal of the club try hitting it towards the toe
@charlesnoel8720 Жыл бұрын
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Any reason why with that swing I would be hitting it off the heel ? Focus is on tilting, shoulder down which has been 98% really good but beforehand I never hit a shank. So what is the fix to hit it more out on the toe ?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Жыл бұрын
@@charlesnoel8720Unless I saw your swing not sure the reason why. Tilting your shoulder down shouldn’t make you hit in the heel. A heel shot can come from a few different causes. I would put a basket or headcover outside the ball and hit balls like that the next time your at the range. Just try and miss the outside object. I do online lessons if you need

Still new to S&T…my tempo in my mind is tilt, tilt. Slows me down and helps with control so I don’t try to over swing as I tend to do often. Thanks, Jess.

I find I do the same thing if I just concentrate on the tilt and maintaining the radius my swing slows down, I get solid contact and the ball goes generally where I want it to.

I'm confused. If it is Extend, Tilt and Turn on the backswing then shouldn't it be Turn, Tilt and Extend on the downswing ? And how does the hip moving to the left affect the Extend, Tilt and Turn sequence ?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Жыл бұрын
It’s a combination of the 3 movements. The body moves in a 3 dimensional manner. The hip moves in the backswing to allow the turn. See my all tilt no turn video:)
@georgekomoneski6300 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response Jess - much appreciated. I really enjoy your channel. I struggle with keeping my shoulders closed before impact - they unwind too early and I lose my extension. Resulting in a low and left club head finish position. Any videos you can suggest to help me with this ? All the best, George.

I'm 78 and still playing golf though I'm afraid my best golf is behind me. One thing I have noticed on your videos is that you always seem to hitting your demo shots off a tee. With my old body and lower back pain hitting off a tee is not the problem, its hitting off the ground! I live on the west coast of Florida about 70 miles north of Tampa and most of the public courses have lots of bare and sandy lies. Used to play World Woods but its closed now and will be a place that only rich people can play when it reopens. How about some videos on hitting from these lies including chipping off the bare and sandy lies around the greens. Of course in the summer those lies turn into knarly bermuda rough lies. Watch most all of your videos and the one about taking 20 shots off your score really helped my ball striking..... many less fat shots!!
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Жыл бұрын
Hey Dave thanks for the note! Most golfers need to practice off a tee just to get the motion down then move it lower and lower to the ground. Glad you enjoy the videos. I do online videos if you need help:)
