I’m dating a man with this spirit and I told him I want to be celibate til marriage and I reject covenants with him before God confirms it. He asked for a list of my boundaries and I plan to send them to him. Lust prevents us from connecting and from him being trusted by women. I want to abandon him but I know he’s Gods child too and so I submit this to the Lord and ask that God guide me even if it means cutting him off. Greetings all. I completely agree with this teaching by the witness of the Holy Ghost. Adding by privilege to this teaching, salvation is in three phase.. 1. The salvation of the spirit which happens when we get born again and receive eternal life 2. The salvation of the soul happens during the ministry of the word - James 1:19-21 3. The salvation of our sinful flesh which happens at the last trump, when our physical and sinful flesh is changed from natural to supernatural to be like that of Christ. Until then, we must learn to keep our sinful flesh under control. Selah

Using Gods word is a sure way complete delivery. The promises in God's word outweigh the desire to watch those things. Example James 1:12. The crown of life here is a bigger promise and a bigger incentive compared to the sin of lust. If you compare the two the power of the latter breaks. Thats a sure way to defeat lust and all other sin. 2 Peter 1: 3 downwards. The Promises are way greater! Porn and all other sins are not that of a big deal as in being overcome by them. Thats how the word of God is the sword to use. You cut the desire into two by the sword. Your using a tool to defeat something. Dont use other tools like willpower. Just use what has been prescribed.
