“I am complete now, fullness now” This, and a few similar things you’ve said, reminds me of the scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont high where Damone is teaching Rat how to pick up chicks: “Three. Act like wherever you are, that’s the place to be. ‘Isn’t this great?’” To me, it’s that attitude of enjoying but not attaching that draws people and events to us, that he’s trying to teach to his friend. Kind of that confidence that you described when girls who rejected you, later were drawn to you. The key is to remain unmoved by current circumstances, knowing that everything changes constantly.
