You can weld a sleeve in the upright beam and install a removable hay spear in it to move two bails at a time.

My girls are spoiled- the pullets have heating pads, and the big girls have an heating blanket.. (both have been strategically folded & wrapped in plastic & tarp to keep them waterproofed) 🙏🏻💪🙏🏻

I don’t even notice the geese noise most of the time, but do have a resident pocket shark (my favorite nickname for chihuahuas)

I'm always amazed when the chickens stay within the poultry netting. I've got it in 48" and mine just fly right over it, even when I've just moved them. Got tired of putting escapers back in so they are totally free range now. Luckily no predator pressure.

We did 700 broilers this year as our 1st year. Had some management issues going into our last batch and couldn’t get them to weight soon enough and bam 10” of snow and broilers. Not fun.

I am with you. Those geese are way too much. As for me, I would limit the goose population to one or even possibly two. Nine would be too many for me. You are a man of patience to put up with nine geese. Chuck, you are good at opening those bags. Every timer I do it I seem to try to start at the wrong end.

Do you ever find random eggs? Just laying around in there enclosure. We've got snow in south-central Missouri right now. And my chickens won't leave the chicken shack. Still eating still drinking though. And yes, I'm still getting some eggs.

Are those Embden geese? Those stupid geese haha. I know they are very annoying to Hawks and other birds of prey. Guard geese for sure!
