I have and use this 'Guitar Players Morning Workout' set. I noticed a big improvement with my finger coordination, dexterity and timing in just days. Playing through the cycle of 4ths in all keys keeps it from becoming monotonous and boring. Highly recommended!

I have seen that nonsense about not doing scales a lot of places. It is encouraging to hear about the value of doing them from a real pro. Thanks for pointing that out, Rich, I actually like doing scales and will not longer feel I am wasting my time by doing them. I think it would be valuable to swing the notes also.

I learned the cycle of 4ths and to play the scales around the cycle, which I play daily. It's improved my fretboard knowledge and playing tremendously and I highly recommend it. Rich, do you have that piano backing track in .mp3, .wav I can download? I'd like to practice with it in time as you say. Thanks for your great videos. 😊
