I started 20 months ago and if I can offer this one piece of advice, write down your exercises, reps and sets (in pencil). When you lay it all out on paper like that, adding another rep here, another one there, it becomes addictive like earning experience points in an RPG game. You really feel the achievement when you watch those numbers go up.
@dipro0012 жыл бұрын
@@Durzo1259 Thank you. Yes, I do that with gym workouts. I am not strong enough to start full on calisthenics work. But I sense I can eventually get there.
@Durzo12592 жыл бұрын
@@dipro001 When I started I had just spent 10+ years lying on my back with a broken spine, so I had _nothing_ for muscle. I started with pitiful little physiotherapy exercises; now I'm doing a really good number of pull-ups and Dive Bombers (hardest Hindu pushup). Keep faith man, it takes patience but one day you'll be amazed at how much farther you are.

#Respect to Master Shredda. Calisthenics has the following advantages over weights: 1. Can be done anywhere, meaning a lot of time saved driving to/from gym 2. Less taxing on your joints, meaning you can do them more frequently and easier to perform at older age 3. More “Functional” real-world strength 4. Simultaneously signals to your body to lose use weight [fat] while also building muscle. Meaning you develop a leaner, more athletic physique with less unnecessary bulk. With weights, I often feel like I have to add additional cardio to get lean. ***You can always add weight with weight vests, backpacks or even resistance bands to make the Calisthenics moves more challenging*** #Respect

@martinpaniceres83522 жыл бұрын
@@blackjohnny0 Definitely, that musculature is not achieved naturally. You can always choose between gaining volume or being very marked, because the training for each one is different. When you get both at that level it's because you have help from other supplements.
@Maghrebisoldier2 жыл бұрын
@@martinpaniceres8352 the training isnt different there is just a peak point where you cant get shredded without losing muscle mass basically peak natty at that point its only possible to go further with peds
@martinpaniceres83522 жыл бұрын
@@Maghrebisoldier what you say is true. But for example, to be more efficient in gaining mass and volume, sometimes it is convenient to increase the weight even if you do fewer repetitions, on the other hand, to be shredded, the repetitions are very useful and are very important. But it is clear that this man is not natural, that's for sure haha.

Here's an idea: Why don't you do a video on this Subject: Calisthenics Vs. Weights? Maybe you can interview your regulars on the channel and find out how they developed their physiques - Calisthenics/Weights/Both? I think that would be interesting.

calisthenics should be as simple as picking a few movements and getting better at them, increasing strength and muscle memory. lots of routines you could take based on a few movements (PPL split). these videos are just pointers to tell you what to practice if you want to see development in that area. don’t have to over complicate it.
