I seldom see anyone clearly state the preference of market orders over limit orders. Im just finding this out for myself this previous week. Market orders are definitely better in fast pace scenarios. I do need to work on my execution and entry/exit points. I had too many instances last Friday of trying to scalp on market orders and then getting filled back at exactly breakeven, despite closing within the green. I need to have more confidence in my plays, and i need to make sure to stay in the trades long enough to secure a decent profit, despite the market order close.

Thanks Ethan, I followed you through the ICT days but as you say it's complex by way of choices, this is simple but only leaves me struggling to mark M5 ranges when you say 'average of bodies', that notwithstanding I was up from $9,785 to $10,391 on the free 3 phase that QT gave me last week ( I lost the 100k accounts since the vps had used a US IP address but still have the free 3 phase which I only trade on fixed UK IP). You don't even have to do the math, the position marker sais it is a 0.25%, and the stop loss is at -0.13%. So it is 2:1 risk, that is right, but with super super tiny profit which is fairly easy to reach. But with 0.25% profit, how can you earn 4000$ with one trade? If you buy for 1.600.000 $ (1.600.000 x 0.0025 = 4000)

The only metric the P&L tool shows is RR and levels for entry and closure. Nothing else. Ie. I think he is using a fresh prop firm. And what he and Jamie has done im the last months was a great profit. They have a streak of losses, or no trades, but due the 1:2 ration and the risk management it's a strategy that get you profits even if you have a 35% win trades.

It’s videos like this that get people excited and blow up their accounts. Futures are almost guaranteed to lose you money with this strategy and 2:1 You will get stopped out. Only strategy worth doing with futures is swing trades

I have been using a “one trade per day” system, and honestly, that has been one of the best things for me within my trading practice. I limit myself to a max of one trade, which causes me to become more patient. One trade per day does not mean that I MUST take a trade every single day. It just means that, now, i only take a trade when my confidence in that trade is very high. My $20K in a high yield savings account was generating $80 a month. Because i am using my savings, my minimum goal is making $80 in a month. My actual small time goal is $100 a week, which is a significant increase in returns from my initial $80 per month. Once im up $100 in a week, my patience within trading skyrockets. I might not even take any more trades for the rest of the week, although I stay vigilante in my constant analysis. Im still new, but my confidence in the market opening move is definitely increasing. Im taking small contracts, small wins, small gains. Once i become more confident, i will begin to increase my size position on those small base hits
