Hi John. I really enjoy your video's , and the way that you present. I see that you get out of breath, just like me, being an old guy of 70 years young, but it will not stop me from getting out with nature, and enjoying what I do. I live in Liverpool in the UK. So where I live, we're not far from some beautiful English countryside. Keep up the great work. Will look forward to your next adventure.

Howdy John, love me some bird photography. Would love to see a side video of how you do your editing and what program you use and what features you like and don't like. FYI: Seen you in the comment section of the Rich Eisen Show. First time running across you off your channel in some time. Thank you for the video sir, you stay safe out there

Followup question. Do you ever shoot in 35MM or is it all digital. Believe it or not I still shoot in 35MM. What sucks is I have to send out film because no photo studios process film near me. I don't of course share my photos online, its my jive and something very little - few people know about.

@@411NOW thanks for your kind words. I'm all digital. I started with film in the '70s. I even learned to develop B&W in the darkroom. But I don't miss it a bit.

Great tips once again. The work it takes to find our subjects and capture their image is the hard part. The simple joy of seeing our success after a hard day out is one of the best feelings. Can't stress enough how important it is to have a good bird app for migration of birds, for the two I use hadn't said anything about the ibis being in the area. Sadly I caught them at the end of their migration. Bless you Brother and keep sharing your adventures

Thank you!

May I suggest the Sibley app. It shows birds' migration patterns, so maybe you won't miss the ibis next time. Also the eBird app has a search feature for birds reported in your area at a particular time.

I love the yellow warbler image but all of the images you share are outstanding. I would like to see how you process images. Everyone seems to process images a little differently so for me it is always well worth it to see what someone may do in certain situations with light, color, cropping, etc....

Loved the fly sound effects, and that warbler. I’m going to try Merlin birdsong next time out. And I well know that out of breath feeling. It is very easy to follow your slow walk advice!

I stole that fly-swat SFX from @fototripper. Whatever you do, don't tell him. 😂😉

Hi my friend nice to see another awesome video!!! The tree root photo I did not care for that much. If it had more light and shadows it would stand out a little more! I love all the other photos!!!

Hi John, Lens Cap and not plugging the microphone cable all the way in the camera seems to be my problem. Trying to learn FCX and falling asleep. Love the Sharpness and the Hammer Sounds. Cheers!
@JohnDrummondPhoto7 ай бұрын
I've definitely done the cable thing. But not last time because I forgot my lav mic. It was the GoPro's internal mic that failed. 😠

I am not the bird photography morality police by any means but it is interesting to google some of the information on using bird song playback it certainly bought up some issues l was not aware of, cheers John enjoy your videos.
@JohnDrummondPhoto7 ай бұрын
Thanks. I'm aware of those concerns and I keep playback to a minimum.

@@JohnDrummondPhoto yeah l have chosen not to use it anymore but it a shame coz it does work as we know. 👍
